That spell Lee bowled would have troubled any lineup. He was fast, getting bounce and swing.

I'm glad he's back to his best, we'll need him.

Johnson bowled rubbish but he tends to bowl better when he has a large work load..

5.5 gone! Harmison bounces out Hughes for the second time in the match, round the wicket and the short ball is right on target. All Hughes can do is fend off into the slips and he's been worked out in this match 17/1

a couple of things to come out of this practice match

Hughes defo needs work on the short ball, but I'm not sure anyone else in the pommie team can bowl it like Harmy so if Harmy dont play it may not be such an issue. He did bowl well though and could have bowled himself into a test spot. At 20, Hughes has plenty of time to work on it and I think he's good enough to work through it.

Good to see North get amongst the runs, I'd say he's at 6 for a while. Clarkie did well but Punter's form is a worry.

Lee seems to be our form bowler in this game, more wickets last night, Clark is tight but not penetrating.

Johnson's technique is just plain sh*t. He cannot get the seam upright and still has the round arm action which pulls down on the seam ans he doesn't get his wrist behind the ball, no wonder he cant get a wicket.

What is the myth Troy Cooley doing about this, he's had this problem since the tour of India.

Hauri, send him home, he's just an oxygen thief on the touring party.
