Was just thinking that, he's always overreaching for what players might get.

"Here comes Starc, come on son! he's only 95 away from his hundred, shouldn't be too hard"

Not nearly enough runs here yet. Assuming Khawaja won't bat either.

I think we have almost have enough. 310-320 will do it, go the tonk and get there fast.
Leaves us enough time to have some chance of getting the wickets but NZ no chance of getting the runs.

321 off 48 needed, Starc just showed how good this deck is.

I wouldn't have these pricks a sniff, NZ now have much more chance then we do IMO.

Mcullum will open the batting and go the slog just so the media can say what a brave little soul he is,the bravest Kiwi in all of the land

Can't understand why they have been allowed even this unlikely chance at winning.

Aus have no hope of bowling them out...

Yep, can't work it out myself we have no hope of bowling them out but they have a great chance of this terrible deck of pulling this off.

This isn't an ODI. There's no powerplay or field restrictions. Road or not, they're not going at 6.5 an over from the start to the finish.

Throw in the fact that Australia has the leeway to spread the field and also bowl wide of off/leg stump without strict penalties then there's just no way they'll chase this down.

Just bat normally, take the draw (if you can get it) and try to level the series in Adelaide considering that match will be a lucky dip of who the f**k know what to expect.

Hey guys if it's any consolation I must commend Steve Smith's sportsmanship in giving us a small chance of victory definitely shows that you guys do play within the spirit of cricket big ups for that

Channel 9 got exactly what they wanted so no surprise there was a declaration. Got to justify showing the cricket at 7pm through to 9pm on a Tuesday night in November.
