Well this ball has been hit twice. I suppose the Kiwis will want a 4th ball now?

Seriously it's become a farce. You'd think Sehwag and Gilchrist have scored 10 an over till now.

Are the rules now all the fielding team needs to do is ask and they get another ball? Ridiculous. This THIRD ball has noticeably more movement than the previous one.

Warner making a good case to stay in the team. Hope he can stick around for a while. If so this game will be over before the day is out.

Say Hughes and Warner carry their bats.

We could (and should) see Khawaja and Ponting dropped. Marsh #3 on boxing day, Watson #4.

I don't see why Marsh should be an automatic return when the team has done well without him and Watson should really replace Starc because his batting has been no better than Hughes lately.

If Hughes can stick around, it wouldn't surprise me if teh selectors give him another chance to see if he's turned the corner.
At the moment, the best thing for him to do is occupy the crease and let Warner keep going.

I would pick Marsh, a series against NZ isn't exactly a form guide for India and most of our batsmen have been poor this series. Also Marsh was in good form throughout Sri Lanka and South Africa.

I get the feeling Warner and Hughes are batting against each other for one spot in the Boxing Day Test (IF Watson is fit)...

you really are clueless aren't you.... Lets replace Starc with a guy who gets injured when bowled too many overs..

Regardless of what Hughes gets in this test I don't think he is in our best XI if everyone is fit.

If Warner and Hughes both get 100s and either of them are dropped to keep Ponting or Khawaja in the team, it's criminal.

Marsh was our form batsman along with Clarke prior to injury I think he cemented his spot more than Hughes, Warner or Khawaja. Personally I think Khawaja might be looking grim if Marsh is fit. Hughes as well if Watson is fit.
