Williamson's dismissal shows how poor the Poms bowled yesterday. They've been bowling wide pies 2 foot outside off stump, finally Anderson goes full of a good length on off stick with his quickest ball of the innings, gets a bit of nip, and it was a ripper to get of Williamson. Great innings by Kane, but it goes to show there's enough in the wicket if you bend your back and put it in the right areas.

Anderson gives Williamson a little serve on the way out. Laughable, the way that Williamson handled him all innings.

To me, Williamson looks like a character who likes that, and is inspired by it. In Wellington, Matt Prior kept calling out 29.8, suggesting that Williamson, if he got less than 30 would average less than 30. He got through to 40 odd in the first innings, and then an unbeaten half century in the second innings, and now 91 after that. You could see Williamson was determined to bat at a normal tempo and control his innings. Interesting tactic that from Prior, Williamson is a cricket tragic so he could have been put off by it or it could build him up. I'd suspect the latter has happened.

Probably time New Zealand started to lift the run rate. Can't really just rely on McCullum later to build the tempo.

And then Taylor promptly gifts a lollipop caught and bowled back to Panesar. New Zealand in danger of not kicking on.

I seriously doubt he will finish his career averaging under 30, he looks potentially the best bat the kiwi's have produced since Crowe.

He'll end his career as NZ's leading run scorer and with an average between 40-45 barring injury etc. He's got through the first couple of teething years in Test Cricket and now he is gonna pile on the runs.

Fulton strangled down the leg side. New Zealand have had areally poor session here, they haven't kicked on at all. They've basically gone nowhere with a slow run rate.

Reiffel you tosser. So he got the caught behind wrong, and then to cover his backside he then asks for the LBW review. Not out on either count. Shocking umpiring, and a shocking way to use the review to try to save his hide.
