Is this the end of Mitch Marsh at test level? He'd need a massive second innings.

He isn't contributing with the bat or ball. Webster is waiting and the SCG looks likely to be a live test.
I'd give him the next test but open with him and give him license to go raygun.

Truly wild.

Against the new ball? What of our new opening partnership of Konstas and Khawaja?

KK it rolls off the tongue. The age difference between the two. From a marketing perspective we'd be mad to change it.

I've got a real rule change.

Ban drinks breaks. Simply unnecessary. Umpires can hide a small 250ml water bottle under the turf at square. Players are permitted to sip the bottle between overs however they must ration carefully as it will need to last a whole session.

By extension all water bottles on the boundary rope are banned.

Umpire deserves and needs a rest. That's why the drinks break remains.

The ICC can issue camel packs to the umpire's. That way they can refresh themselves at their leisure.
Have you stood in the middle of an international cricket ground for 2 hours straight concentrating every ball? Umpiring is more than standing around counting to six.

Maybe your employer should issue you a camelback, instead of allowing you a break for a drink. I'm sure you'd be happy about that.

Okay, but batsmen need to face up within 1 minute of getting hit in the helmet or they are timed out.
