That's a bit harsh! I don't see so many problems with his technique. Gives it the full face, likes to get down the track and go over the top despite what you are saying about his lack of footwork. He does look awkward sometimes but I don't see any real flaws. I like his attitude the most though. Backs himself and is a fighter. Calling him a flat track bully is particularly harsh, I think he will turn out to be the opposite of that.

watch his front foot, half a step down the middle of the pitch instead of towards the ball, then he reaches out for the ball, looking with his hands as they call it

as a result there is a gap between bat and pad that you can drive a truck through, he never gets his front foot across to the pitch of the ball

he has a typical limited overs technique but he has a good eye to make up for it

you cant get away with that if the ball is moving so its no surprise that he has done well on this pitch

his footwork down the pitch to the spinners is good but he also uses the same footwork to a ball outside off stump

good luck to him if he can get away with it cause I really like the guy

Unless the pitch changes dramatically with scuffed up footmarks for Nathan Lyon or low bounce: this match is shaping up to be a dull draw

Its no secret matches with results in this series were played on sporting decks, although Australia imploded at Lords in the 2nd test

Was just about to post this, still bitter after being rightly dropped 14 years ago. Typical Victorian wanker.

Mind you, it was a brilliant idea to make the team wear the baggy green. The way warne spoke about his baggy green cap is a f**king disgrace.

That it was a ridiculous idea to wear the cap in the first session.

Also that he'd throw it off his head after the first session. Hated wearing it.

Any excuse to have a go at Tugga, he was a great bowler but a shit human. No wonder him and ian chappell are such butt buddies.

Heard on the radio the other day that tuggas cap and red rag are insured for half a mill.
Waugh is one of Australia's most admired cricketers of all time, Warne while an out and out champion will be always remembered for all the stupid selfish crap he did.

On a side note, lucky eels81236 didn't hear warnes comments about Waugh. Dead set would of had a heart attack.
