I was there for ten weeks though, but still, so easy to eat too much. In the end we were only eating half our meals to try and shift the weight, but when we came home we thought all the servings were sooooooo small here, just got used to eating huge meals.

Yeah the portions are ridiculous.. I'v been pretty good lately considering what I have to work with.. but I still think I'v put on a good 5-7kgs.. they just love greasy food it is disgusting.. and the "fresh" produce is average at best. I am in Philly atm and was told I had to try a Philly Cheese Steak.. so here I am picturing an actual steak with cheese on top.. but no, it's minced with melted cheese the whole way through it.. it's a hard attack waiting to happen.. so foul! Carls Jnr chargrilled chicken salads have saved me a few times.. YUMMY!

Do yourself a favour when your in NYC and dont by a ticket to go out and see the Statue of Liberty. It is massively disappointing and you can catch the Statton Island ferry for free and it goes straight past well within photo range.

Those portion sizes over there are insane. My wife ordered a Ceasar salad when we were in Memphis and it came out in an actual salad bowl, like the size you would take to a BBQ for everyone to share. Little wonder I went from 97ks to 105kgs in 6 weeks.
