But it would be worth it already to have seen Smith get the hundred and walk over to the 408 painted on the pitch. Then the total reaching 408..Hopefully even more so if they get to see Clarke bring up his 100.

I feel sorry for kids of this generation for the reasons you stated. I will always be grateful that I grew up watching Benaud, Greig, Lawry and Chappell: Benaud anchoring the coverage wearing his iconic white, Greigy with his pitch reports and post-match interviews, Bill calling the final overs of a thrilling match and his banter with Greigy, and Chappelli with the toss.

Also, still much prefer it when it was just two commentators per 30mins rather than the current 3. More value and analysis in commentary. Now, there's simply too many commentators
