I admit, I bagged the crap out of him during the 2010/11 Ashes series (although in fairness to him, he was only 21 at the time), but he has really improved out of sight since making his way into the side during our ill-fated tour of India last year.

Same,i never expected Steve Smith to turn out to be this classy of a batsmen and likewise i never expected Warner to be a great Test player after first seeing him slog like a maniac in 20/20,seeing this two develop like this is something i never thought would happen,pleasant surprises.

Warner, whilst not at the flamboyant level that the Big Show takes it to, still has the tendancy to play these stupid T20 shots in test matches. He has calmed down a lot with more sensible strokeplay, as personified by yesterday's innings.

Regarding that 2010/11 Ashes series where we got rissoled (the low point being bowled out for less than 100 on the opening day of the Boxing Day Test), most of our dismissals in that series were due to these T20 shots.

Yea. Sharma has bowled quite well this test/this year I think, but often he's been rubbish.

What happened to Yadev?
