I reckon plenty of them do get their 'news' off forums. They're not journos, just gossipmongers.

Salary cap doesn't allow it. Your team has too many good players.
Please rate our 2016 players in order of attacking prowess so far
I don't think defensive players are that expensive. All the money is in spine players, who are far more involved in attack than in defence.
I'll give you ten better than Scott:
Radradra
Takairangi
Norman
Foran
Paulo
Ma'u
Edwards
Terepo
Wicks
Pritchard
There's probably more.
Is defence not of equal value to attack?
Well name em merkin ... put up or shut up
Wicks?
Terepo?
I only had to name ten, merkin, to justify not including Scott in our ten best attackers. But I'd say Gordon, Jennings and Gutherson have all done more than him as well. Maybe also Mannah and Moeroa.
Did I stutter?
But has Scott's attack been worse then Watmough's was last season??? I'd say no, and his defence has been just as good if not better.
I didnt ask you to justify your post. I asked you to put em all in order
Merkin
I don't do requests, merkin.
It is, however the responsibility thereof is more equally spread across the team. Attack can be (and indeed should be) structured around a handful of key individuals.
I don't do requests, merkin.
Merkin
Both a couple of merkins.
Two merkins, one cup.
I agree. But it still undervalues Scott's worth to our team, in particular. His effect won't be properly measured in stats, at least not the ones currently collected. Does anyone measure speed off the line? And how being slightly quicker actually allows you to affect the following play. And how that inspires the team?
Two merkins, one cup.
I already said he's been one of our best defenders, and without reference to stats. But his attack has been ordinary, as I expected.
But I agree he's been a great signing.
