I like Benji staying with us for a couple more years and slowly allowing Brooks/Moses & Sirro to work through a teething period and end up settled somewhere in the team.

Hopefully they all turn into outright weapons and fit in somewhere. Signing Benji though gives us plenty of cover. The only thing is Benji still has to stop those crud plays and the younger players have to fulfill their potential.

As fans of the game when we think of Benji, we think of Benji circa '05-'01.... He has not produced quality for a while now & his player value should reflect this. Not based on what he did a few years ago.

I believe that we are best to let him go & seek $$ elsewhere. We thank him for his service & loyalty.

We need to ensure we have cash to keep our promising juniors & stop all these long-term deals with 'non-performers' or the 'un-wanted', only to pay them out eventually.

It kills me now I think of the NSW front row next Wed & what could have been for the Tigers.....

If you believe the RW Mole & the Tele it seems Bunji has re-signed but doing the rounds on twitter from a few different sources they seem to think he isn't resigning.

Personally i just want this all to end. Either him or his manager are dragging this longer then it should. Can anyone remember a stupid thing like this dragging on with anyone? Its just bringing unwanted attention to our club, instead of positive things like how well our young players have stepped up. If he wanted to do what's best for the club he would wait till the end of the year and let his football do the talking.

I think we can only see it as a good thing that Benji is not going to have any affect on Brooks once he reaches first grade. IMO Benji has not done any rookie in the 7 jersey any favours what so ever. If anything he has damaged their career with his style of play.
I'm surprised but happy if this turns out to be true.
