I really don't think Suncorp's as good as all get out. It's a great stadium but I think Allianz (apart from transport to and from the ground) shits all over it, and as much as many people hate it - I prefer ANZ.

Problem with SFS is it is of the older design where the angle of seating in the front section is quite shallow. this pushes all the subsequent sections further away than need be. Add in the not very effective roof design it is isn;t as good (capacity aside) as most new SL stadiums like the KC where if you pay for a decent seat you stay dry if it rains.

looking forward to going to Suncorp for the first time in June to see if it is as good as most makeout.

Emirates where a steeper seating angle puts you on top of the pitch

I haven't actually been to the SFS, but I can't really see how it could be better than Suncorp.

As good? Sure. Better? Doubtful.

What way is it better? Carparking?

Emirates looks quite shallow too, big, but shallow. One of the best, Westfalenstadion -

That was the one I was looking for! Emirates is much bigger stadium hence more front section rows.

That is a great looking stadium and would put you right on top of the action.

I doubt many people are saying it is an advantage to the broncos supporters (although you could argue having it at the same time each week would let the fans get into a routine too). The problem is the financial leg up the club gets because of all the extra exposure and the steady routine for players backing up 7 days later each week.

This.

conveniently overlooked as the Broncos fans hack in to that strawman of theirs.

Yes, it is an adv to always have a 7 day break, but thats not Brisbanes fault - thats channel Nine's decision as they schedule the games.
I would prefer to see some sunday games, but is a rare thing.

Do you expect us to complain about the financial advantage?

How many Friday games were Brisbane getting before this current TV deal? Were we doing better or worse on and off the field back then?

I don't think it's been conveniently overlooked, it's accepted that it's a valid complaint and we've made the point that there shouldn't be a Double Header on Friday.

We've also said that as fans the constant Friday night home games has negatively affected our chances of getting to the game.

But you know, got to take a stab at that evil corporation surrounded by thunderbolts and lightening very very frightening...

My mate hates the fact they always get friday games, because it means he has to watch the game full of ads on the delay.

I hate Friday night double headers for that exact reason as well. Honestly, would it be so hard just to have the Game of the Round on that night and telecasting an extra Sunday game?

For those playing at home I did some research for ya'll.

Brisbane Broncos Friday Night Tally (since 2000)
2000: 7
2001: 7
2002: 10
2003: 8
2004: 5
2005: 5
2006: 4
2007: 12
2008: 14
2009: 15
2010: 14
2011: 16
2012: 8*

Funny how we won a premiership in the year we had the least amount of Fridays.

I question the bold statement. I have noticed the Broncos have significantly lower attendances for what sunday games they get on a friday night.
