I never said the ARLC is going to "gift" Brisbane the 18th licence.

I've provided evidence to support my case.

All you've done is shout your biased opinion. When you're presented with evidence that doesn't support your view you get sulky and make puerile retorts.

You keep on shifting the goal post when your idiotic claims are refuted. Creating create dumb strawman arguments, like the idiotic claim about "gifting" a licence to Brisbane, is meant to deflect attention away from your defeated points.

You're now making tasteless jokes about people who have Down's Syndrome.

The fact you cannot even understand the basics of the English language proves you're dumber than a person who has Down's Syndrome. Quite ironic.

Learn how to argue. I've refuted all of your baseless claims. Deal with being a loser and get the f**k over it.
You haven't refuted shit, all you do is post media clips, and take it as gospel, as if the media running with a sound byte from a bid automatically means they have a better chance than anyone else.
All youve done is basically talk down the papuans and outline how poor and malnourished they are and that they'll never be able to play against athletes that are not from their region of the world.... but then you talk of including Singapore FMD... you are all over the place... you lacking chromosomes, doesn't automatically mean i called you down syndrome, you put 2 and 2 together and came up with 3... classic logan!ComfortableIncompatibleAstarte-size_restricted.gif

For min3, it's highly likely the ARLC will take the weak option and admit BRI3/QLD5 to the comp as team 18.

It will reinforce that our game isn't national and a two state sport. It will add no new fans, no new talent pool and no new corporate sponsorship.

It will be a typically short sighted decision making that our great game is known for.

That's exactly what you've done with the PNG proposal you dumb prick!

Nothing I've said is wrong, is it?

The fact Albanese is talking about funding this proposal and basing it in Cairns proved my point. You've been shown the statistics on PNG.

If you think a violent third world country with one of the shortest and most malnourished population in the world can compete in the richest and most physical rugby league competitions in the world then you're a delusional moron.

but then you talk of including Singapore FMD... you are all over the place...

I never said Singapore is a likely candidate for an NRL team. Nor did I ever talk about Singaporeans playing for it. I made a flippant comment about Singapore being the only large and rich market in our region -- it's bigger than Sydney and a trading hub -- that could financially support an NRL team. The odds of a club ever being established there are slim and it would require significant investment from the ARLC that will never eventuate, but if it were to occur it would have a far greater chance of adding money and new fans to the game than this bullshit proposal from PNG.

Why don't you go play with your Barbie doll and Tonka trucks?

Let the adults talk about NRL expansion.

I honestly think it's a coinflip between something stupid like another Qld side, the Bears, PNG, or genuine expansion.

Hahaha Singapore aircraft carriers, in singapore but without any players from Singapore, thats the best trolling ive ever heard...
Notice you didn't mention chromosomes, doesn't fit your argument to argue about your lack of them. Considering you automatically thought if your without that you'd be down syndrome, its actually the opposite,
Keeping you posting has kept me entertained enough that i can put my barbies down and have a laugh...

The clock is ticking for them to make a decision.

If we assume a 2028 debut season for team 18 (first year of new TV deals), with a 2-year lead-in time that's early 2026 at the latest to announce the successful bid.

Two and a half years, tops, to call for bids, assess bids & announce a winner... Ideally sooner than early 2024 if we wanna give the team a good chance to build a squad.

The longer it takes for them to make a decision on expansion the more likely they will be to add the Brisbane Tigers. Only an established BRL club has the infrastructure to enter the NRL on quick notice. We can put a line through the North Sydney Bears as they don't have the infrastructure to run an NRL club in Sydney, let alone in Perth. North Sydney Oval is not fit for NRL games and the club has poor facilities.

Infrastructure wouldn't be an issue for perth or NZ either. PNG / Cairns would be a problem.

Perth need to build a clubhouse and a high performance training centre. Brisbane Tigers have all of this before 2028.

Perth Oval can be used as it is, but it would be better to upgrade its western stand and northern section before it enters the NRL. The better its facilities the more it can generate from corporate hospitality. This is important because they won't have a Leagues Club to rely on to supplement the revenue they generate from football operations.

You don't think you can build a training facility in 5 years? It's still 2023 isn't it?
