Been getting some drizzle. Not pouring but enough to have to put the wipers on. Bloody annoying. Seems having the windows down a bit solved the problem of the windscreen fogging up. Enjoyed the first 2 movies so far.

An absolute prik of a nite. Worst I've ever had there. Rained a lot, popcorn was sh*t, and to top it off got another flat battery. Couldn't get it started and thought was going to be stuck but on last go it started. The last movie was delayed cause of me. Only 1 guy there all nite operating the movie and the battery packs. I paid for 3 but left after 2 cause of car

Second movie was rubbish. Third started with no sound and lites on cause of me keeping guy working on my car

Was that you was it roboshark? I noticed there seemed to be quite a few flat batteries tonight. Shame about that.

I did wonder what the go was with that and why the intermission cartoon wasn't on after the second movie. Let's hope it's better next time round.

Well the only reason I still went was cuz it was the only time this particular Triple Feature was going to be on. Had it been others I probably would've left it. Plus I took my brother who tells me he doesn't remember going to the old drive ins when we were kids so for all intents and purpose this was his first experience of the drive in.

Hoping to go up next weekend when there's a good Triple.

- Prince Of Persa
- The A Team
- Robin Hood

Just hope this rain has pissed off by then.

Even though they say they screen regardless of the weather how you could watch movies at the drive in in the rain is beyond me. Especially how relentless it's been. But it rained last time I was up there. That's probably why they had so many flat batteries hey roboshark? People not only having their car radios on but the wipers as well.

Yep definately. There is no way it would be worthwhile going this weekend but that triple above Is a beauty. Next weekend is the long weekend as well so might go sunday night

2 flat batteries out of the last 3 visist for me....despite starting the car between movies

Well your battery could be the problem. Also I'm not sure if they're screening on the Sunday Night. You might want to contact them to see if they're screening on the Sunday Night. Next weekend I'll be taking my brother with me again cause he wants to see The A Team

Went there last night. Only saw the 2nd and 3rd Movies. Couldn't get away from work soon enough to get there in time. Saw The A Team and Robin Hood.

Noticed that in between the 1st and 2nd movie they were showing this ad for a local skydiving club. Taking up advertising now? Reminds me of when the Drive In had ads like they do at the cinema where it was a slide. Also they kept only showing the last 5 minutes of THAT Cartoon. Are things slightly different on a Friday Night? Also there was only one line open at the snack bar so it's lucky I had dinner before I went up there.

Whist no panel vans up there, I did see a transit van up there that was parked back to the screen. At one point they had closed the back door of that.

The skydiving ad has been around for a while, I saw it the last time I was there and that was almost 2 years ago..

Ah ok well I'll have to take your word for that.

Also is their a council imposed curfew on when screening has to finish? a)Because I'm surprised they've never tried Movie Marathons there but also it was nearly 12:30am by the time the last movie finished last night.

I agree Mind you I can't get to the top of Queens Wharf tower either so go figure.

Yeah I noticed a cow in a paddock right next door as I was driving out on Friday night. Wonder if those in adjoining properties try to sneak a free peak at the flicks that are on
