Just saw the highlights of Reds v Rhinos, Leeds scored some sensational long range tries. They have some phenomenal young talent in Watkins with his evasive skill, Hardaker sheer speed and Ben Jones-Bishop.
Zac Hardaker is a prime example of giving opportunities to Championship players and developing into top SL players.

Last nights highlights of the Salford v Leeds game:

http://www.therhinos.co.uk/news/18944.php

Even though I was at the game the majority of the good tries were down the other end of the field and I didnt realise how good Kallum Watkins played at the game (although beer may have had something to do with that too  ) His try and the 3 he set up with that left foot step were awesome. And how about Hardaker's speed. You cant coach that!

Well done to Kevin Sinfield too on becoming the club all time leading points scorer. Another notch to add to his bedpost as he proves himself as Leeds best all time captain.

Oh and the Rhinos u20's are unbeaten and top of the league too. Another comfortable win against the previously unbeaten Reds u20's last night 44-6.

I love the pic they used for this article too. Epic troll face

I hope they get Jamel some game time this year because i'd be interested to see how he slots in. I'd give Webb a break at some point, move BJB to full back and put Chisholm on te wing. 2 of the tries he scored against a very good and experienced Warrington 20's last week were top drawer.

And if anyone is interested in seeing them... http://www.therhinos.co.uk/news/18901.php

To be fair, Hardaker wasn't a typical Championship player. He played about half a season at that level aged 18 before signing for Leeds.

At half time yes

8-4 to the bulls.

Dixon try on 22 followed by aWhitehead try on 33. 8 point try to as Foster seemed to kick Whitehead in the face after the try had been scored and that is the difference. Both teams playing a basic game and regularly kicking early too due to the conditions.

If saints weren't already in crisis, they are now. Play Leeds, Wire and Wigan in the next three games. Could struggle to make the top four if they fail to get a win soon

HT scores from around the league:

Hull 28 Widnes 0
Warrington 12 Wakefield 20
Wigan 24 London 18

London were leading for the majority of the half too and it was 18-6 at one point. Wigan scored 3 tried in the last 10 though to go into the sheds with the lead

Bloody stupid. They are a good forward down and have their best played injured. They have lost 4 in a row now but against 2 of the top 4 teams in the league by 1 point and a last gasp try. Im glad Leeds didnt take the same measure last year with McDermott when we had Peacock and McGuire out injured.

Rumours are Daniel Anderson will come back over too.

Yeah, they'll have a caretaker coach this year and Brown to take over next season.

I keep waking up about an hour or two after Wigan games have ended.

Very frustrating.

Caretaker for the majority of the season seems unlikely. Not sure Brown would want to leave the team he has built which is clearly challenging for honours. Have to agree with previous sentiments. It's still the same team that made the grand final last year - sacking at this stage would be a mistake
