What a season boys, sensational, given we are a shoo-in for the minor premiership and the resulting home game advantage where exactly will that be played. Luv it to be at Penrith but if I remember correctly we couldn't play semi-final football there several years ago as it was deemed a suburban ground and not eligible for finals football. I suspect it will be a rematch with the Eels which would draw a massive crowd. so maybe Homebush.

Will be amazing to see these two teams at bankwest or homebush when covid restrictions finally lift. The intensity at Penrith stadium when its full is always fantastic but its another level when its 40k+ in the stands.

64-6 at homebush in 2001. That was 54k. But a great chunk of those fans came to see the second game of the double header. If it gets to anything like eels/dogs around 2009 then it would be a true spectacle (74k)

Wrong. The first final game will be held at the Panthers stadium.

That's circumstantial at best though and whats known as "poisoning the well" - Poisoning the well is a type of informal fallacy where adverse information about a target is preemptively presented to an audience, with the intention of discrediting or ridiculing something that the target person is about to say.

The guy is still one of the few reslected rugby league Journalists who said he spoke to people at the club.

Well let know if he writes a positive story about the Dragons over the next couple of years

That is what the media is full of. Agendas.

No place for opinions in Newspapers though. Report the facts save that stuff for on TV

He wrote an opinion piece as a Dragons fan. Opinion articles are just as much a part of journalism as is objective reporting. It's on fans to be smart enough to distinguish between the two.

Since winning the comp they have made the finals twice... I am not sure putting out a negative opinion piece is helpful to the cause. Prob why it is dying medium by failing to read the room

I'd say he's fairly representative of the Dragons fan base. From what I've seen they're mostly thankful it's only 2 years.
