Against the raiders today with Matthews out James shifts to the edge Max King starting prop. New bench prop 18 year old Moeaki Fotuaika.

I don't really know. He was rumoured to being shopped around mid last year to the Warriors. It was denied. Yet he toured their facilities.
Then he was the one to make way for Maloney later on.

Gus said the other week on 100% footy that in his day the coach did it all these days it takes Atleast 4 coaches. Head coach needs a good team around him.

On that example Yeo was ordinary on the weekend too. Reshuffled teams always get confusion in defence. Didn't Kikau play centre when Mansour went off the week before?

Seems to be what they like. Start the next week with the combinations that finished the week before

Pretty great position the club is in at the moment. 1st in Matt’s (knocked out by the Prems), 2nd in Ball (prems), 3rd in Flegg, 3rd in ISP and 3rd in NRL.

Hopefully these injuries ease and all levels get some cattle back to add to the trophy cabinet.

The problem for Jimmy is that he is not a good defender. He knows it, the club knows it, the whole NRL knows it. His solution is to rush the defender and get them before they get to speed. At best he stops them. Even if he doesn't stop them he slows them enough for other defenders to help.
The problem comes when the attackers go wide of Maloneys man and into the gap.
Solution is that the outside defenders need to rush up with Maloney.
Problem is this can also be contracted by a short kick in behind the line. Like the ones the Sharks did recently.

Yeo busted his rib cartlidge 15 mins in and should have come off but due to all the injuries he stayed out there for the team. He is now out for 3-4 weeks because of it. Merrin,Yeo & Hetherington Out for next wk now. Merrin the slightest of chances!

Isn't that what coaches do? Teach seasoned internationals the basics of the game?

The question I would ask, would be, why is Maloney getting isolated? He shouldn’t have to be making one on one tackles in the line.
