Not to forget that the AB/Simmo attitude stayed with us until Steve Waugh retired.
That was their greatest achievement. Not that they did it but that it stayed long after both had left
Spot on. What has to be reiterated is the platform they set for Mark Taylor too. AB was a warrior on and off the field. No better leader for that time in our cricket history in my opinion.

, i was probably a bit hard on Ziggy he maybe wasn't a Numpty but his attitude is what finished his career. Phillips,Ritchie and Mo Mathews also were far more talented than the guys who took their place but for whatever reason they didn't fit in AB's and Simmos team dynamic. While we may have been shit back then it is still my favourite era for watching cricket. Every win was cherished and something to be remembered.
