It’s disappointing. Really thought we would go on with that after Hymel’s try. Hastings dropped ball and that was the turning point.

Our main problem was our bench, poor selection of both Elliott and Hetherington who were under done and Crossland who isn’t suitable for 1sts. If he is now a hooker play him in Cup. No matter what we think of some we would have been better with Jones and Johns on bench with Gamble for Crossland.
Miller did ok, as did Best, Hunt and Young, Ponga/Hastings will get better especially if Ponga stops acting about head hunting. Frizell loss hurt us especially with under done bench, Mann and Fitz again ok along with Brailey, still need more from Saf boys. Unfortunately I don’t see much changes for next week unless it’s Gamble, Jones and Johns, Gagai for Tuala if fit

I'm totally convinced we need Gamble on the bench instead of Crossland.
Mann needs to learn to continue it out wide at times instead of turning back and hitting it up. He makes ground but kills plays. Friz has been guilty of that at times. Hopefully Mann sticks to the middle.

I would have kept King and Saulo. For sure.

Heatherington and Elliott will be better for the run.
