Both of the halves absolute dogshit start to the game too. We've got a lot of competition for spots in the halves... between a bunch of reserve graders.

The expectations of Phoenix are odd. He has 12 good games and about 50 that range from average to liability. The expectation probably shouldn't be the smaller sample.

Kicking game is abysmal. And our outside backs are getting absolutely manhandled trying to make metres. That was a big strength last season, but this season it appears a huge weakness. Our forward pack is not dominant, we relied on having the best yardage wingers in the game to build momentum. Something has to change this year tactically I suspect.

So far Cogger looks like he couldn't organise a root in a brothel. We are better off with a one leg Hastings who can at least give us shape. What is it he does that makes him a must pick?

There's always a hope that a player can turn a corner and improve. It seems that hasn't been the case, we just got duped.

No Marzhew was always going to hurt in that respect.

Cogger is trying way too hard. Not even running for any reason other than pre determined. It’s hard to watch us right now. There is basically no attacking structure or impetus whatsoever.

Yep. Hastings can coordinate. Cogger has never been that.

This is completely fair. I guess the way I see Phoenix is what he did well was all the effort plays, not a lot of skill. Same with Gamble. Looks like they just hit purple patches?
