Perhaps Miller is getting a rest tonight. With Gamble there maybe KP is dropping back to fullback at some point. As part of their plan to lower his defensive load.Mann and Phoenix share the dummy half load.

I feel like Sasagi would have been a better fit for the bench than Crossland with that starting 13.. I hope O'Brien knows what he's doing.

Crossland will play hooker, when he comes on Mann goes ro 13.

Not really sure what they want gamble to do other than bring energy through the middle I guess but really a wasted choice, would have gone with a proper forward option

Glad we're at least starting Mann at hooker. Clearly AOB didn't miss what the rest of us saw, which is at least somewhat comforting. He needs to give Gamble a crack at the 13.

I don’t really see any benefit of picking Johns over Gamble tbh. They’re both small and unlikely to be effective in terms of running meters. At least Gamble offers something in terms of ball in hand and field goal option. I’d prefer a big body over both though tbh.

The only way I can handle Crossland on the bench is if literally nobody else can cover Mann if he gets injured or needs a spell. I fear it’s because AOB is obsessed with him though.

It feels like the first time in years our team selections have some logic behind them. Crossland hasn't been all that bad this season and hopefully he only gets a handful of minutes off the bench to rest Mann tonight.

Nervous but hopeful tonight. Really want to see both Saifitis take it to Junior tonight. No mistakes from Miller would also be great tonight.

I don't know if it's just you or not but I feel I've seen a few comments now about Johns being on the bench for Gamble. I think Gamble is a way better option than Johns.

Super ecstatic with the starting team! Definitely do not like Gamble and Crossland on the bench.
