Depends how badly they are affected by NRL call ups.
Jeremy Smith had a impressive first grade debut last night vs West Tigers and could very easily be seeing more First Grade.

Belrose 28 (W bishop 2, A Needham, M Takau, J Nixon tries, B Scott 4 goals) beat Cabramatta 6 (N Carr try, S Aiga goal)
Belrose dominated the home side which has now lost to 2 of the 3 sides that finished below them last year. Several quality players have departed and a few key signings are yet to make an impact. Belrose were runners up in the West Wyalong knockout in February but were flogged in their only trial. They have turned this around quickly despite serious injuries to Kmet (hamstring), Leloux (jaw) and one of the forwards (groin) limiting them to 14 for the last 20 minutes.
Cabramatta
Retained
Chris Yates, Brett Rimmer, Michael Meigen, Francis Betham, Aaron Fluke, Alex Farani, Sam Aiga, Nathan Emms, Shane Best.

Losses
Daniel Russell, Ryan Russell, Eddie Sua, Casey Ellis (North Sydney), Roy Friend (Tweed Heads), Keith Heckenberg (Halifax), Justin “JD’ Doyle (retired)

Gains
Alan Burns (Sydney Bulls), Willie Brown (Wentworthville), Matt Gruska (Redcliffe), Chris Weaver (North Sydney), Nathan Carr, Brett Lee (Guildford), Scott Jones (Parramatta)

Belrose
Retained
Steve Carew, Richie Plummer, Greg Hilton, Andrew Needham, Brandon Scott, Andrew Lambert, Rob Dowton, Martin Cook, Chris Jordon.

Losses
Justin “Tigers” Doyle, Luke Isaaka, Shawn Townsend, Steve Watene (retired), Michael Kassab (Seven Hills) Quinton Silva (injured)

Gains
Willie Bishop (Asquith), Kyle Arnold (North Sydney), Franco Kmet, Mick Takau (Balmain), Nick Leloux (Central Coast RIP), Dean Loder (South Sydney), Joab Hull (Manly), James Mortimer, Josh Nixon (Orange Hawks)

Sydney Bulls 44 (C Salem 2, W Naiqama, N Ford, W Grech, D Ainu, T Mansour tries, A Tippett 8 goals) beat The Entrance 16 (A Moore, R Wheele, C Rolfe tries, A Moore 2 goals)

A bye in Round 1 for The Entrance meant that the last form of the game played by the visitors was when they won the Valley United 8’s tournament. When the Bulls ran up an 18-0 lead in the first 10 minutes it looked like the Tigers had only 8 on the field. A run of 7 consecutive penalties got the Tigers back into the game but the closest they got was 26-16 midway through the second half. A bit of possession allowed the Bulls to post another 3 tries.

Tippett, Winterstein and Tom Mansour replaced Jolly (suspended), Bushby and Branighan from the Belrose game

Sydney Bulls

Retained
Dane Gimore, Mo Chahal, Chris Salem, Joel Bushby, Wes Naiqama, Steve Jolly, Adam Tippett, Willie Grech, Phil Takchi, Chris Smith, Charlie Farah, Charlie Nohra, Nathan Debartolo, Tom Mansour, Anthony Mansour, Paul Winterstein

Losses
Elias Paiyo, George Azzi (retired),Damian Mostyn (Bulldogs), Alan Burns (Cabramatta), Callan Myles (Cairns),Jasson Asplet, Ryan Asplet (Kingsgrove)

No-one tipping Newtown. You might be in for a SURPRISE.

With Jets leading by 24 to 20 with only minutes left on the clock they almost were mate. ;-)

Jets beat a second placed undefeated Balmain last weekend, and almost beat a second placed Saints at WIN stadium the other night. And with SO many players out due to injuries and NRL callups a draw is MORE than a respectable effort. No PAEA and SA in this side as well. Great effort from Jets......

Sydney Bulls and Windsor have won both games, then Newtown have won the only game played while Wenty, Belrose and Asquith have a win and a loss. Cabra will have to fight Erina for the spoon.

Ladder: http://www.nswrl.com.au/index.cgi?det=1&intArticleID=816&sID=27

Interesting to read those gains and losses.

I went and watched the Asquith games vs. Windsor. It was a pretty good match. Windsor were very focussed. Centre Rueben Enoka was the stand out for Asquith and i thought Aaron Mercer played well for Windsor.

Girvs did Piripi Ranga or Brad Domek play for Asquith? They both played for them in the Valley 8's. Rueben Enoka and Nathan Ford are a great centre pairing for the Cook Islands.

No Ranga and Domek weren't playing. I would have liked to have seen them play. They have only played 1 game each in Premier League since the season started so they need the match fitness. I saw Ranga there watching on.

When was the Valley 8's?

Valley 8's was held on 25 March. Asquith won their 3 group games against A grade and CRL teams but the real grand final came early when Asquith lost a close quarter final against The Entrance JB, who went on to win the tournament (the host club puts all the strong teams in the other half of the draw, so Valley gets to the final).

Kyle Arnold had the flu so he didnt play for Belrose and Casey Ellis didnt play for Cabra.
