That's a shame that we have one less event game in our comp.

But that's modern RL these days, fix something that ain't broke.

Guess what, motherf**ker?

A BRL club is bigger after their first season in the NRL than your club has ever been in its 40 year history.

Everything you said about the Dolphins turned out to be bullshit.
And could and should have been much, much larger and more successful.

Pretty much everything I predicted about the Dolphins has happened so far, you just can't see it because you don't understand my position on them at all, and don't care to understand. You're fighting a concocted strawman and there's nothing I can do to change it, so why bother.

BTW, imagine thinking that a team from a fanatical major metro market being larger than one from a regional market four times smaller and where the sport holds significantly smaller market share is something to brag about lol. "The Yankees are more popular than the (e.g.) Brewers", who'd have thunk it lol!
Storm wouldn't be where they are today without News Ltd and the ARLC.
Nor would the Dolphins... WTF does any of this have to do with what I said anyway lol.

Dolphins aren't being propped by an extra $100m over 20 years. They're getting no more than any other club and had to provide a $50m bank guarantee. If Melbourne had to do the same they wouldn't exist.

f**k Souths and Titans... Raiders or Cowboys makes more sense. Townsville has the RAAF base, Canberra is DOD HQ - Duntroon, War Memorial etc.. dumb NRL
So the games aren’t being played at Townsville or dunteoon lmao

where do you come up with this bs

storm picked souths because they can fill the stadium like the wahs

wahs picked titans because it’s a dud game normally and now it will sell out

Souths won't fill AAMI, there isn't even a big rivalry between them.

What was there biggest game of the year will now be another average game with an average crowd.

The ANZAC game was plenty broke from a warrior’s perspective, the fans hated having to go to Melbourne every year (often on a short turn around) to be the storms whipping boy in their wankfest.
The fact the storm refused to share an alternating hosting schedule with the other half of the ANZACs is a big reason the Warriors wanted out. Hope it crashes and burns for the storm against the Bunnies so they at least are open to sharing hosting with the Warriors in future
There should be a game in NZ at least every second year of the ANZAC round.
A 2nd NZ team is a good opportunity to have one every year.

Shows how selfish the storm are they wouldn’t share it

wahs should keep it every year now

not having a game in nz on Anzac Day is a massive fail

The entry of the storm into the nrl was something the arl had no say over

news ltd did it for their own reasons (whilst killing off Perth and the mariners)

It was John Ribot's idea to being in the Storm. He was the man behind Super League. News Ltd wanted a team in Melbourne.

The Storm are the most parasitic club in Australian sport.

I'm looking forward to their decline when Bellamy retires.

The Storm took the initiative and created an event game, where there was none before. And a Aussie team playing a NZ team on ANZAC day was something unique for Melbourne that could never be matched by the AFL.

It will crash and burn with Souths, just as the Warriors home fixture will no doubt be nothing special crowd wise either.

For some reason in our game, whenever we create something great, we have to ruin it quickly, all in the name of self interest.

15 to 20k at Aami is going to be a great showcase for our "national" sport.

TBH, I'm disappointed with the change. This fixture had mana, we should have tried to push for a similar home game for us at some other time rather than just blow this one up. Warriors v Titans doesn't really have the same excitement.
