The big chatter this round is Ivan Cleary and the Panthers.
It's unbelievable that Penrith have made a play for him with four rounds to go in the regular season. The Tigers are still in the hunt for a finals spot too. It's fascinating to see how both the Panthers and Tigers go this weekend, considering all the talk around their head coaches.
Tonight's game is usually sensational, Cowboys v Broncos. It could still be a thriller, but with less riding on the result as compared to recent years. It looks a bit like JT's last hurrah, the last big game he'll play at top level.
Bunnies v Chooks tomorrow night at the Olympic Stadium is another GF preview. Two sides coming home strong, and two genuinely big forward packs going at each other. Although, Souths would have the edge in that area.
Storm v Sharks, it's always good.
Sea Eagles at home to the Dogs. Two sides playing for pride, and also the Spoon. It's a knife-edge in that regard, still four sides with a chance of 'winning' it. At the start of the season, would we have predicted the Eels, Cows, Dogs and Eagles to be the 'little four'?
I hope the Knights don't think they're still in with a finals chance, or Ponga wants to impress his relatives in NZ too much.
