Think that the Bulldogs have recruited into the HNWP ahead of entering the NRLW next year, they should win the HNWP with a bit to spare. Sometimes it’s easy to admire how they go about recruitment, just sign who you need and then call in favours (a la Gus) to move players on to fit the cap.

I think we only brought in a couple of players this year, dont think they were marquee or established

So why does it look like we are playing so much better than last year? Even with a couple of key players out

Well for starters both our 7 and 8 have been available for all 3 games so far, even though though Elsie Alberts butter fingers against the Sharks last week helped cost us the game. This week though she made up for it by playing in beast mode without dropping the ball once. Go girls give us all long time suffering Eels fans something to cheer about this season. Cheers!

Kate Fallon …thought she was stood down?

I think she was only stood down for her own mental health concerns, in the aftermath of the incident - not stood down under the NRL "no fault" rule?

She was granted bail until her court appearance on Wed 14 August.

Maybe it is better coaching, but as you said earlier, it helps that our two marquee players are actually available.

Also all the girls are a year more experienced and that shows in their skill levels.
