Origin 2013 NSW side

This year is our best chance having two games in sydney. As much as I would have Campese there, I wouldn't chuck him in, too long out of the game.
Although I was against the idea of A. Reynolds earlier this year about being halfback, if Pearce doesn't kick start the year off with some good form, I'd heavily consider him.
Since Mal has come on board with the Maroons, the QLD team has a better winning record at ANZ than the Blues.

Don't count on winning because you have two home games.

From where I sit (which will forever be a position of intense apathy), I'd pick Kurt Gidley at halfback.

But delusion will see to it Pearce holds his spot and, hopefully on my part, Tony Williams also.

Gidley? No, and thats from a Knights fan

He was terrible today doing what he always does, trying too hard to do too much cahasing too many points. He cant start in Origin. He cant be the main guy otherwise he will just get too involved and that always leads to cabbage performances

Nice try Qlder!
They're wily up above the boarder... trying to convince us to play Giddley at half.

What them folks, sneaky bastards

T Rex is too inconsistent, and Sims is better anyway. I just hope we are smart enough to play 4 props. Half is the only position where I'm uncertain. I think Reynolds could work with Carney, Hayne, and Farah in the spine. Plenty of spark while Reynolds employs his excellent organisational and kicking games. An ace goalkicker to boot. The only other caveat is if we have to have a replacement hooker, it should be Hinchcliffe.

When Bird replaces Gallen, he becomes captain. Got to get quick play-the-balls, and have the players run as individuals as much as possible, quick feet and all that. We're not going to win by going through well organised phases like Qld do, and good shift plays on the back of that, that's why I'd go with Sezer and Carney, get them to take the line on as much as possible.

I really hope that Josh Reynolds gets the bench spot over Gidley. But I don't trust Laurie to make the same decision.

Reynolds would put in 100% and he doesn't seem to drop the ball when the pressure is building like Gidley often does. Farah is key and it is also key to give him a little break and Reynolds would inject enthusiasm.

Woods has to be there this year, Woods and Merrin have to be there along with Tamou and Grant. The best 4 young props in the game along with Mannah and McGuire.

Make Gallen a specialist lock again, backrow will probably have to be Bird or Lewis and Watmough with Wade Graham on the bench.

Lewis is looking very good on the right hand side for the sharkies! Better options than Stewart and Scott!

Yes mate, Mason

They guy has been huge for the Knights and has been there before. I honestly think a bloke like him is needed in the side to help lead the pack with Gallen.

Keep an eye on young Jorge Taufua. Scored a hat-trick last week and always makes a lot of meters, strong kick return too.

Those 3 were on Uate's side too.
