On the news last night pretty sure I heard Bellamy encouraging the sharks players to co-operate.

Pretty rich coming from this merkin, considering the storm players declined to co-operate with the nrl after the salary cap scandal.
The hide of this merkin

exactly what are they going to ask if they don't ask what gronk said above?

"Hi Wade. Nice weather. Did you have a good lunch? Ok that concludes the interview."

I forgot to add that ASADA told Wade Graham that (paraphrasing) if you f**k with us here we'll give you 12 months.

That was probably the moment when his lawyer stood up and walked his client to the door.

The Supreme Court has granted an injunction to prevent News Ltd from publishing bits from the advice given to Sharks by Allan Sullivan QC.

Mr Kane states in his affidavit the advice he gave to the board was marked "strictly confidential - subject to privilege and not for circulation beyond the director's and the club's legal advisors" the top of each page.

Mr Kane says Mr Sullivan's advice ran to 21 pages.

Good to see we're not the only club with leaks. Seriously, who the f**k would give this to any merkin from News Ltd ?

Money talks ?

Can you guys please just tell me why the players wouldn't just cooperate?

They are cooperating. Don't think for a second that their lawyers don't know what they are doing.

There is a line that gets drawn when the answers will become speculative. They can't comment on what a team mate may or may not have taken. Hell, they'd struggle to explain what they had taken themselves.

If they speculate, ASADA will take the answers as fact and use them to incriminate.

That's what this whole interview 'game' is about now. They want to cooperate but then they ask questions the players can't possibly answer so they need direction from the supreme court on what each parties rights are in this process.

I wouldn't expect the players to speculate. Just honestly answer whatever they know.

Graham: 'Ummm, I have no idea what it was. My brief is to follow the instructions of the club doctor and that's what I do. As to what my team mates took, I wouldn't have a f**ken clue'

I don't think that's a defence against WADA rules. Players have an obligation to know what they are taking.

everything on the internet is just soooooooooo accurate
I bet you before this story broke, back when they were allegedly tricked into allegedly taking these, that all the sites regarding GHRP6 were probably pretty accurate. Or porn sites

Problem is, if you let players off for coaches giving them banned drug then it would be used as the excuse for each and every player that ever failed a drug test. They'd all just cheat and let the coaches take the fall.

The thing is though, is that if ASADA ask them what they took and they players honestly say " I don't know" like a lot will do then ASADA have to come up with enough evidence themselves. It seems like they want players to admit to knowingly taking certain substances, and saying they saw such and such take this substance. But since they didn't get that with Wade Graham they've postponed interviews and gone back to the drawing board. It remains to be seen whether they have enough evidence at hand to charge individual players and seems like they were somewhat relying on player interviews to get them over the line there. Who knows what the next step is now that this method turned out pointless.

My Tom Humble "calf problem" comment was deleted cos it wasn't sourced. So I went looking for it and found a news article that states same.

A calf injury ruled the 22-year-old out for much of the early season with the Eels' feeder club Wentworthville Magpies.
What is interesting however, that it also states that ...

The pair was cleared by the NSWRL Anti Doping Tribunal earlier this year after it was established the substance had entered their system through no fault or negligence of their own.
Maybe Tom got off lightly via NSWRL as ASADA do no seemingly accept that ignorance is a defence.
