Okay... maybe there’s room under your tinfoil hat for JJ... :joy::joy:
I think your the one with the tinfoil hat little buddy. This was always going to be winston as election, no matter what way he swung.

4 cabinet seats and a DP role for a party with only 7%? It's clear that he's the ultimate one in charge.

Zoology is a science...

I'm more worried that the person running the country has a comms degree LOL - actually scratch that, Winnie's running the country

What degrees should politicians have?
I’ve always thought someone in health department should at least have some form of health degree.
Most have law and com as a shit load of papers to read.
Economic should be a must for any treasurer.

What happen if Winston dies during the parliamentary term?

But hey... maybe your okay with the fact he can come up with an imaginary $2B hole despite EVERY economist saying it doesn’t exist... :joy::joy:
I trawled through that list of economists, they all have one thing in common , they all belong to the Fabian Society so not exactly independent.

LOL

Not heard many economists agree with the forecast of doom and gloom from the collective intellectual might of NZ First

No I haven't either, but after Winston gets stuck in and fiddles with the dollar it might be a different story, we'll just have to wait and see I guess, except to say that its never worked long term for anyone else

yes - the only doom and gloom predicted is on the basis over too much intervention - will Jacinda and Winnie be channeling their inner Socialist/Muldoon respectively? Or will they stick to their knitting and focus on the issues that need to be focused on (which I think everyone pretty much agrees on)

Pike River should never have been an Election issue - disgraceful from the Left - that's a Health and Safety disaster waiting to happen - leave it to the experts, plain and simple
Yes cause the politicians are going in to get them themselves...
Its 2017 - you can't say it's completely impossible or dangerous to get this done and the experts definitely could.

The thing is Key PROMISED the families he would get the victims out and never delivered. Thats a pretty heft betrayal imo. Naturally that will become an election issue.

What's with the current obsession with throwing money down the drain to build a new motorway to Auckland airport? And why are Greens so in favor of it? Not as if anyone is going very fast on the current motorways at peak hours.
And why are the Greens in favor of reopening Pike River? It is now a conservation area which I would have thought they would want to protect.
The Greens want light rail to the airport.
National wanted a East West link - that when priced out would be some of the most expensive road ever made anywhere per/km. There were business cases commissioned demonstrating what a bad idea it was and Simon Bridges tried to have these suppressed.

Funny how no one seemed to give a shit when National rolled out the ultimate lightweight in John Key....

Talk about lipstick on a pig... :joy::joy:

JK - what a legacy to be embarrassed of...

A leader that was openly mocked on international TV.

And inappropriately harassed a young woman working at a cafe.

And wasted 26 million of a vanity / ego referendum to solidify his legacy... That was roundly defeated.

imaginary $2B hole
$11b hole.
Debunked but basically every economist going.

But with Joyce and English insisting it was true - but not being able to name one independent person who backed there view.

Juju the gift that keeps giving
What is factual wrong about anything I have said in the above posts.

You keep saying you're a centrist but seems like your more an Apologist for the Right - with double standards towards a young female prime minister.

Well Winston is the last one standing from Robs Mob, I'm interested to see where we are in a year or two down the track, in might be great or it might not...

Oh yeah - he's a Muldoon junkie, no mistake - not the Think Big - rather the Socialist control everything stuff, hence he likes Ardern and Labour were simply more desperate than National (sorry Juju but anyone that thinks any different is pretty f**king dumb - National simply weren't going to give this much to him - I am sure the you and the "rent a crowd" today disagrees)

We know Muldoon nearly (or did) ruin the country - but I am happy to accept he thought what he was doing was for the right reasons - but they are all attention hogging narcissists - Jacinda and Winston (and Key) are astounding in that respect - that's why I am an English fan - not a big noter at all, competent, hard working

There's a lot of good talk - hopefully it works well - The Auckland petrol tax is a disgrace though

You really like illustrating your bias here.
The thing is no one has any idea what National were or weren't willing to concede and to pretend otherwise is pretty f**king dumb.
As if National would not of been desperate to stay in power.
It was The National Party who leaked during negotiation they were baulking at 4 cabinet positions.

Even Winstons speech announcing who he was going with - does that really sound like someone who could align with National's dogma.

"Far too many New Zealanders have come to view today's capitalism, not as their friend, but as their foe.
And they are not all wrong.
That is why we believe that capitalism must regain its responsible - its human face. That perception has influenced our negotiations."

We get it, you like Bill English's Pizza Posts.

The hilarious part for me is that old Winston (or should we call him Wilbur) was saying that when things go bad it isn't their fault, but they are throwing money around left, right and centre (university, houses etc), can't have been too bad then could it ?

I'm not strong either way, but one thing I do know, is that I hate listening to Ardern talk, lucky I don't watch the news at all !! Having said that, I was one of the few in the world that hated listening to Obama too
