Queensland Side for 2010?

I think Queensland will have a better forward pack for the first time in a while if Hannant is fit.

They've always had the better pack.

Unless you mean on paper.

But still, the Queensland front row is normally always better.

The QLD forward pack is always full of hard merkins who bust their gut for 80 mins.

The NSW forward pack this year will have a bunch of flashy oversized centres who run away from confrontations and want to run over halfbacks all day.

Would like to see Scott Bolton get a bench spot.

Nathan Friend I would have had as my backup hooker, he is a Niggly tough nut.

Yeah sorry should explained better, on better is what I meant. This season with Hannat and Petero we probably have the two best props. Theres been no better back rowers than Myles and Thaiday.

1. Slater
2. Falou
3. Tonga
4. Inglis
5. Boyd
6. Lockyer
7. Thurston
8. Civ
9. Smith (Ballin on standby)
10. Shillington
11. Thaiday
12. Myles
13. Harrison

14. Cronk
15. Taylor
16. Scott
17. Bolton/Costigan

From reports, I think you can bank on this team being selected ... the only spot up for grabs is the last forward on the bench.

I don't like the idea of Costigan coming straight into the team especially since he has not played very much this season.

I'd have Bolton in front of Costigan... hasn't played enough.

Boyd has easily done enough to be in front of Tuqiri. Boyd always does what is asked of him as a winger, I reckon it's his best position actually.

Not a bad team from QLD. Dave Taylor will really have to step up and play 30-35 mins and not blow up after 10 minutes. Can see QLD winning by 10 depending on the weather

Side looks interesting, Scott over Shillington especially.

Totally called Taylor selection and was laughed at

Pretty happy with this side actually. Bolten can count himself unlucky. He'll get his chance, if not this series, definitely in the future.

Like Cronk coming off the bench. Cronk, Slater and Smith combining towards the back-end of the first half and late in the second could cause some headaches for the Blues.

I think Scott has been quite impressive this season.

Taylor will be gone for the next game if Hannant is fit.

Got to agree, pretty happy with the side, as mentioned by others Bolton is a bit unlucky but he'll get his chance in the future.

Shillington and Scott might swap before the game starts, it happened last year.

p.s anyone got any ideas where Cronk might come on and play?
