hang on it’s not like perth where you lose a club and there isn’t another one in 2000kms! Lose a Sydney club and there’s still a heap within 40kms of your house! Such a suburban mentality that you have to have a club within 10kms or people won’t follow the game.
Tell me how long is the tradition of that club,5 years,50 years 100 years.Long enough to build real tribalism? You ask many, they follow the club first, the game second.
See the sign "Souths til I dies" at club games."
Those guys would teach you a thing or two.And you are lecturing Sydney club fans, about their preferences. LOL.
You were the one who stated juniors went over to the Force and indeed their fans, when Perth was flicked.BTW I didn't want any team flicked including the Reds
When rl teams are demoted to a lower division in the UK, they retain their crowds?
When you guys got the whiff of SL, your numbers dropped off.
Who says they don't follow the club or game.I've already pointed out in another post, people within the area who have large numbers of club number plates and merchandise seen walking around on many occasions.
And you still publicly display your ignorance about tribalism. As has been pointed out losing ones club is not going to get the fan of that club to follow another .I've met former North Sydney fans who don't follow another clubs few who followed the Waratahs when they had some following.
Until you can grasp that point, and continue using your vivid imagination that people will jump on board another club, you won't get the picture in Sydney.
The suburban mentality draws Tv ratings in Sydney. The crowds when Manly played North Sydney at times were large. You were probably in Hull ATT.
