So basically your problem is you dont like this:

Seven reporter bashed outside NRL venue

but youre OK with this:

Seven reporter assaulted outside NRL venue

...not a whole lot of difference imo....

Happy with that yes.
Just like you were "happy" with the front page headlines that you were greeted with after the "raping" last yr involving the Tigers.
Was there a rape?

Maybe Brisbane should sign him up, showed he can tackle.

Seriously the idiots need the book thrown at them, and their faces posted at all grounds as not to be admitted.

Here's a conspiracy theory for you - they were goons hired by the AFL to give rugby league bad publicity in Melbourne during the Storm's premiership push.

I cant get over that ch 7 news bulletin, "reporter bashed by league fans" followed immediately by "air force fighter jets scrambled", that cant just be coincidence.

Strange how an incident involving some rowdy Bronco's fans is the #1 news bulletin story and fighter jets intercepting a rogue aircraft and shooting flares at it over APEC airspcace is the #2 story. Reminds me of the whole "Shaun Timmins jumps on street sweeper" saga which happened at the same time as war erupted between Israel & Lebanon. Guess which was the #1 story?

The even funnier thing would be if it was AFL fans at an AFL game, we all know how, with contra deals, the AFL try to put a positive spin on everyhting, so this would either be brushed under the rug and not reported on or given some "boys will be boys" spin "everyone shook hands and had a beer afterwards, no harm done".

I was thinking of a tight, sleevless jersey with black and white stripes on it.

A bit hard to brush it under the rug when it happens on live tv.

Better yet, make them support a soul-less enterprise in red and white who aren't even good enough to make the finals.

That'll teach them.

bit touchy hey phil, surely even you can admit it is an atrocious jumper.

Or maybe even a club that suck millions from a corporation who owns the game and bankrolls them, and cannot stand alone, cannot be financially self sufficient. A club that was borne from super league, and you talk about soul-less, that's funny.

there is no way a brisbane supporter could be forced to support the team with the mighty red v, afterall melbourne are just a more purple coloured brisbane.
