I dunno they never stopped us when we had good field position the second half when we didn’t drop the ball, we easily created overlaps every time as we should’ve. It was the penalties for me, constantly piggy backing them out of their own end when we were not under pressure .

Plenty of reserve graders out there today. The standard showed but class wins out. Every time we spread it they had no idea

Edwards probably best player overall. Usual safe self under high ball, ran with purpose and played a hand in a couple of tries.

I thought Mitch was very good overall, his first stint in the middle 6 or so runs for 70 metres couldn’t of asked for any more.

I think he was solid too, did nothing wrong I just think he should be used as the back up hooker rather than a running forward.

Why do referees feel the need to piggback the team out of the backplay especially when they are down to 12 men. Was it to 'even things up' Sure looked like it.

Yep Tago could be anything. A few more regulars will help just fix up our discipline and we will be fine. Games like that just frustrate me, we shot ourselves in the foot to much but a win is a win. The great man cleary back next week will help.

Kenny was great when he was on.. but ivan shouldnt be putting him on as a prop after 15....

He can come on for any forward. But the balance on the bench has to be right and it just isnt and it was clear to see today. Like blatantly clear. I mean kenny came on after 15 for spencer ffs..

You think thats good??? Ivan has to sort the bench out. Kenny and api worked well together and kenny was strong but the whole bench make up and changes ivan made were just so off..

We cant keep going salmon and kenny on the bench.

And fyi, yeo is these days and out and out middle.. so kenny can go 13 and do the b,smith harry grant style melbs will play..yeo can go to prop and still ball play.

It means you get to running hookers and an elite ball playing prop on at one time...

Gives so many option in attack when teams are fatigued.

I can’t argue with any of the penalties tbh. Kikau in particular needs to watch his flopping and holding down, hopgood had one of those as well and there was a couple when we jumped to early down their end. We started that way against manly then fixed it up quickly and just dominated them but last week and this week we haven’t fixed it up and it’s stopped us from getting that same field position domination as we did against manly.

That last one that led to the final Knights try was ridiculous, considering it was a voluntary tackle. Before that I was accepting that we're trying too hard to keep them in their own end and getting pinged for it. An adjustment needed.

I dont think kenny is the answer at all..

I said 18 months ago we should go after connor watson as he was the best 14 in the game and no one wanted a bar of it on here. Yet now most think hes the best 14 in the game.

We need a 14 with speed. Salmon and kenny arent that....

But yeo plays middle and played prop a lot last year at the back end. He still ball plays from prop and noting changes.

But it means kenny can get into 9 and just pass and it leaves api to run when he sees oppurtunitues..

Not making anything up on the go.

Been saying for 18 months this is what we need. Kennys not the ideal man for it but its all we got to do it atm.
