Tago has been shirt grabbing in defence for almost a year now. At what point will he be held accountable?

You really are losing the plot on here.

You don't think hed be highly exposed in the finals last year if he was shirt grabbing.

No doubt his pec and fitness at times has caused him some issues. But to blindly blame all the right side defence issues on him is just plain wrong.

You seem to get hate lr serious dislike for players and just cant let it go. Peachy, soni, luai, tago now....

Yet theres been other blokes that you just defend to the cows come home regardless to all reason. Burton case in point.

Instead of mass changes to a winning formula.. the team needs a few things... stability for one. Players out every week hurts. Your half being a major one.

Ivan will be working over time to sort it out i have no doubt.

Moving players and chopping and changing will only unsettle the team more atm..theres a time and place for it. When your close to top of the table and your best players been missing for almost half the season plus other major outs... is definitely not the time.

Weve been the best defensive team for 5 years now.. a few poor weeks isn't reason to throw the toys out the cot.

Just need to assess whats happening and make some small adjustments to fix it.

People arent giving the cows enough credit either.. thought there 2nd rowers and val were extremley dangerous on the weekend. Even luai had a tough time and hes probs the best defensive 6 in the game.

Ivan hasmt become the best coach in the game from making rash decisions.

As the boys say. Trust the process.

Its a long year. Every year is different. As long as we are getting close to our peak by round 23/24 its ok.

Lol funny seeing you agree with me.

The roster has been horribly inconsistent due to injury and unless im imagining things ivan seems to be experimenting a little.

100% agree.

We are 5 and 2; played a number of the contenders also. No need to panic.

Havent seem a lot on here about it hit ive watched it 10 times and my mind is the same.

Luais pass to garner was not forward.

That was a try..

He takes a huge step back which makes it look forward. And the front angle camera makes it look forward.. but imo it was back..if luai doesmt move post pass it wouldve been a try

100% agree.

We are 5 and 2; played a number of the contenders also. No need to panic.

Before a ball was kicked this year some of the posters who act like they know it all said theyd be happy if we come out 3 & 4 after the bye given weve started slow and the short pre season...

We are now 5 & 2 after the bye and people still aremt happy.

Like its rd8... yes theres issues. No doubt the edge defence could be better.. do ppl seriously not think ivan doesnt see it too haha??

Hes become a great coach becomes he doesmt seem to panic anymore..

He doesmt play silly games anymore.

He will sort it out.

If that means tago gets dropped down the track so be it. But now is not the time.

Boys are doing well considering the injuries and weve had the toughest run of all clubs to start the year and almost top of the table.

Positives far far outweigh negatives. The negatives will sort themselves out as season progresses

I could post pics.

When luai lets it go garner is about 1m behind him.

When he catches it hes flat or just behind.

As the ball is in the air luai takes a big step of the back foot and pushes himself just behind the ball.

I for one havent bought into the casey badger was bad. Thought the reffing was fine.

Im try to be as neutral as possible but that wasnt forward. Optical illusion. Camera angle and luai stepping massively backwards at the time of passing

Watch the game. Yes tago has had some poor missus but the issues on the right are the whole side..not one guy.

Have a bit of faith in ivan

I know numbers don't tell the full story but a few do agree with Chins

12 errors - 9 is next highest
9 penalties conceded most in the side
6 tries conceded. Only Edwards has more which is normal for a full back

And.....

Nath has been out.... thats a huge restructure to that side...

In both attack and defence.

Take luai and and put cole or laurie in what do you think happens to the lefts numbers.

Seriously.. some people just want someone to blame instead of looking at the bigger picture.

Literally every win we had was due in part to luck, So of course the side has stuff to work on. Both Ivan and Nathan said as much after the game

See I knew you would some shit to put it elsewhere

Tago's tackle % which would be affected by no Nathan actually puts him number 3 in the comp.

Errors and penalties or racing out of the line are individual decisions

Your rambling essays aren't much chop either hun.
Tago's defence hasn't been up to an acceptable level since he did his pec. A month in cup would him a world of good

Haha you are a goose at times.

You dont think missing the best player in the game won't affect defensive decisons and attacking structures??

Naths defense was poor on the weekend too.

Yet tago is to blame.

And don't think im not on dissimg on tago...

Yes he needs to be better.

But i watch games and not try individually blame players for no reason.

Theres clearly issues there but it seems to be the whole right side.

Tago just all off a sudden after years start rushing up.

Did he lack trust in schnieder... is the communication with the winger not working.

Are we just getting outnumbered...

You say you knew id throw it elsewhere hahahaha. Your the one bloke on here with lukey b that ive never seen admit when they are wrong.

Not throwing it elsewhere. Just an honest not biaised appraisal

Sound like lukey bowden now.

Too much too read for you.

Just stick to drop em and add nothing..

If it was up to you kenny, edwards luai would all be on the scrap heap..

He has had some clean misses he should make.

He has had some clean misses he should make.

Nath shouldve made the tackle on val back on the inside on the scrum...

Our teams been built on covering hard on the inside working hard for your man..

Where was he.. the gap between him and tago was huge and they both missed the assignment.

But no one's blaming nath...

The issues on that side step from the imside. Watch closely.

How many times this year has tago been beat on the outside shoulder?

With schnieder it was obvious he was trying to do to much and covering.

People are blowing it way out of perspective.

Its the same as tiny. Hes been extremley good at defending on the outside shoulder. When we are stretched back on the inside he has struggled.

That is natural for a centre.

As a centre you have to trust your inside man. If they are even half a step behind it makes it hard.

The difference between us getting back to shutting teams out in d isnt far off.

Few minor adjustments.

I don’t dispute your CSI-level analysis proves it wasn’t forward, but it looked forward live and I don’t think you could crucify the on field officials for calling it.
