Yes agree. But I have doubts about Benji as a coach. Also Galvin is not a great defender.
Long term not a problem but could be an obstacle to success in some games that matter as they build. The kid is a tall streak of pelican shit at the moment. ll long bones and no muscle. I have no doubt he'll be a punishing tackler by 2026-27. Probably as a lock

Found a list of our train and trial players for 2025:

Kyle Pickering, Kristian Dixon, Blake Hosking, Brad Fearnley, Lachlan Crouch (Newtown), Riley Pollard, Taj Ford, Sam McCulloch, Alex Challenor

Jayze Tuigamala has left for Canberra.

Hope they lock this snorkel up. At least a dev deal.

Teigh extends for 2 years

Continuing an exciting retention spree, the Sharks have locked down second-rower Teig Wilton on a new two-year deal until the end of 2027.

Wilton has joined Braydon Trindall, Briton Nikora, Liam Ison and captain Cameron McInnes in recommitting to the club after a strong 2024 campaign.

The 25-year-old, who was already under contract for the upcoming season, has played 85 NRL matches since debuting for Cronulla in Round 11 of 2020.

"It was an easy decision for me. I knew if the club wanted to have me I was definitely going to stay," Wilton said after inking his extension on Wednesday.
"Cronulla's home to me; it has been since I started my football journey here. I can't see myself any place else. I love the club, I love the area and I love the whole crew we've got here.
"I'm very excited for what's to come in the next few years."
Sharks General Manager Football Darren Mooney said: "Teig is an integral part of our future. He's become a mainstay on our left edge and has been identified as a long-term leader, having filled in as captain earlier this year.
"With almost 100 games under his belt now, Teig is a seasoned first grader whose best is yet to come. We're very happy to have retained him and several other key players heading into 2025."
Hailing from Narooma on the NSW south coast, Wilton has progressed through Cronulla’s junior system after first playing in Sharks colours at an under-18 SG Ball level in 2017.
He skippered the Sharks to their first Jersey Flegg Cup premiership in 2018 and had the honour of leading the NSW under 20s the following season.
Wilton made 23 NRL appearances this year, scoring five tries while averaging 33 tackles and 104 running metres to help the Sharks reach a preliminary final.
The forward has lofty ambitions for 2025 and beyond.
"I've got a premiership on my mind," Wilton said.
"That's the main thing on my mind for this club with our group. I'd be lying if I said that wasn't at the forefront of my mind."
