From NBWT:
Believe Brent Naden the only top 30 player who won’t be fit to start preseason, having recently had surgery on one of a few injuries he carried this year. Had a shoulder op at the end of the season and appears to have had wrist surgery of late.
Doueihi not a starter, so not included.
So we should be good for R1. Hahaha

It would be

Looking at John Morris, he looks fit enough to play?
It would be like having Brooks but cheaper. Brooks couldn't set up a try, Morris would create the overlap and then murder it. Hahaha.

Moth/ Croydon Dog Food would be dead after 4 games...

From NBWT:
“There’s so many of them. One of the great young lads there is Josh Feledy, a centre who debuted this year. Bro, he’s just sort of got that mongrel about him that you don’t really see those young guys come through with”

Api re any young players he’s excited about @ WT

Interesting comment from Api?

NBWT:

4 people in the current WT NRL setup have worn the #7 for the Club.

Api Koroisau, and 3 of the coaching staff (Benji, Robbie, Morris)

Add three recruits plus pathway halves to that list we should have enough ammo....as long as they're not blanks we'll be fine.

Based on last season, Reilly should get first crack. Feledy needs more time.

Reilly showed some real promise in his short stint...gives his all!

Feledy needs at least another year in nsw cup, im not totally convinced he'll make it, will see what happens. All the coaching staff + Api rate him highly.

Agree re Reilly. Probably went better then expected, defence was very sound. Played all year in cup at left centre then came into first grade at right centre, classic Sheens.

Would say its a shoot out between him, Naden and Kepaoa for left centre. Assume Toa will be right.

In ‘23 we lost the first 7 (from 8) games and basically kissed the season goodbye.

In ‘24, we have:
Bye
Raiders
Sharks
Eels
Dolphins
Dragons
Panthers
Broncos

While it’s still early, and we won’t all of them, what’s your thoughts on comp points in this period?

I’m hoping 8 to 10 pts
Bye, Raiders, Dolphins & Dragons. A smoky beat the Eels.
Would set up an interesting season for us?

I don’t think the Pennies will take us lightly ever again:)

We should be aiming for 3 of those as a win in the next 2 are highly unlikley. Raiders in Round 2 is such a massive game, win that away then Leicchardt would be packed to the rafters for round 3.
