Just did a quick search, he's only a youngster? Strange to be training with the seniors then?
Doesn't say what's his position?
Found it - a 6.
Gee we have a shitload of young halves coming through?

16 year old, probably the best in the country, also wanted by union. He’ll debut before he’s 19. Reckon he starts in the Centres but will be a half long term.

Even Charlie Staines looks big in some of these preseason photos. Don't lose any pace Charlie cause you'll be our top try scorer next year.

NBWT:
Rare in recent years for both pathways to play against each other.

Only one clash since Wests #HMatts had a tall goalkicking halfback by the name of Justin Matamua in 2018.

@Vic Mackey not sure of this, have you heard this before?

You did mention him
If Fitter can debut at 17 so can Large..That’s next year or ‘25. If he’s training with the big boys even more so. He looks rediculous good

he'll get the suaualli hype next year. has the same physical attributes (ran 10.93m in the 100m school boy nationals) yet also the skill of a half. i do believe they changed the law around debuting, i think you have to be 18 and finished school so it will be late 2025 at the earliest.

Seeing that this is the 2024 thread . . . . I'd like to wish all my fellow WT supporters a Happy, healthy and prosperous New Year !!
I reckon we've made some good off season choices and will perform better next year. I haven't had that feeling for nearly 12 months now.
But seriously . . . we have made some good off season decisions. Next year will be different.
I can sense it.

Yep, well the end of another disastrous season is in sight, thank f**k.
The only good thing, is we can’t go any worse.
I look forward to a much improved effort from the team, in that they give a f**k, for themselves and the fans.
All the best everyone.

One thing is for sure....
We have a better team than that of 2023 and it's going to get even better.
We will improve and you can quote me on that!

Everyone is in a singlet or tee shirt, except Twally.

The guy is a tough bastard. Hahaha
Arghh, but they were lucky. Back in our day we were to beaten to near death by a stick before we started training.
Arghh, but we were lucky too, we had to train for 6hrs straight in 40⁰ heat, and without water Aarrrrggh.

Has anyone come up with an answer to who will be our kicker on the 5th tackle will be (long distance)
Api tied up in ruck.
Is it Sezer?

If Richo can get the board in line and fill it with people who aren't f**king morons then we should be in much better shape. If we can combine this with coming10th or better then I'd count that as a pretty good season,

I know Sezer can kick, you would expect it to be him wouldn't you?
Just had a quick look at Sullivan (you would think he will get first crack at 6) he kicks as well, but hasn't played to much FG atm?

Of course.. he'd get the gig.
I just went over some of his archives and his kicking prowess is mainly bombs for the wingers and up and unders but if he does the long stuff he'll get into it.
I didn't think of bud, can he kick long? Hasn't been around long enough to have a lot of highlights.
I hope it doesn't become a weak spot.

I was just told by the SG forum that Bud hasn't got a strong kicking game. So it will be between Api and Sezer by the looks of it.
