Don't get your hopes up fellas, this'll probably turn out like every other news article that bashes the Storm. Based on nothing.

How can the NRL sign off on a deal in one year and they turn around the next and say oh no that is all wrong.

Are they that bad at their jobs or just trying to get some revenue?

I can see it now.

The NRL have fined the Melbourne Storm $X.

There will be no further punishment in way of deduction of competition points as the NRL is of the belief that whilst the agreements are in breach of the salary cap arrangement there was no intent to defraud. The Melbourne Storm have been open and honest with our investigation team and whilst we agree that the breach is severe it was not a wantant and deliberate one.

Kick Souths out of the comp and suspend Jason Ryles.

It is the only suitable course of action for such a heinoue act.

251 dollars... to win 10k...

So the person bet what... 40 bucks?

Big money bets here folks.

:lol:That's what I thought. What a bunch of pussies, even if they have all their points stripped they only have to win one more game than Cronulla they'd be mad not to take bets even at that price.

If it's just Cam Smith's third party deal I doubt they'd be over by much. I can't see a lot happening but it's clearly a related party transaction to have Smith paid by Fox Sports.

NRL Reported on twitter that David Gallop is to hold a press confrence at 4pm today

some neville said that, not the NRL

You sure??? This looks pretty solid to me...

THE NRL has called a 4pm press conference to announce details of the Storm’s salary cap breach, amid speculation the penalty may exceed the 37 points stripped off Canterbury in 2002.
Storm chief executive Matt Hansen and chairman Rob Moodie recently left the NRL after an all day meeting to discuss the allegations that have resulted in bookmakers suspending betting on the wooden spoon after a series of bets on Melbourne to finish last.
Hansen and Moodie left without commenting to the waiting media and are beleived to have departed in a News Ltd car.
