Real tidy squad, first major tournament for a long time without Pauleta, so hopefully somebody will stand up and bag the goals in, Ronaldo would be my guess.

Really like the look of the defence, and the speed on the flanks should be great to watch.

Basically, on form he has excluded their second best LB (only just behind Evra), their best RB, their best DM, more or less best CB (alongside Gallas) and most profilic striker.

Hope they crash and burn.

If UEFA are going to have joint hosted tournaments, it should be in countries who are actually decent football sides. it's ridiculous that 1/8th of positions in the finals are being taken up by Switzerland and Austria - the two worst sides in the tournament. Yes the hosts should be there, but it just lowers the quality of the whole tournament somewhat.
