i loved what fittler had to say, sure he didnt put it across as well as someone else would have, but he spoke from the heart and basically said the current set up is f*cked. he went on a bit long because he doesn't know how to express his points properly, but who cares, he was a professional footballer, not a CEO.

much better then the usual fence sitting of fatty and co.

As for the quality of the show, what do you want..??..It's a Rugby League variety show, not quizmasters..if you want cerebral satifaction, go to the ABC os SBS when the soccers over..

they should run a story on Mythbusters about ABC & SBS shows being intelligent

Fatty - looks old and tired with same jokes..... totally lost with often moments of silent and cringe factor every few minutes....

Brad Fittler - Can not put a few lines together that makes sense....mumbo jumbo crap

Beau Ryan - Started out okay now is trying to hard to be matty johns...

Some of the segments make hey hey its saturday look good....

They should just aim to have the show finish by 11. The segment between Thaiday and Hindmarsh was unnecessary and just dragged the show out (as does 'League of their own'). The show is best when the discussion is focused on Rugby League.

Although the Beau Ryan 'Doggies' supporter is hilarious. It certainly gives credence to the saying "It's funny cause it's true".

IMO, the AFL version is far superior in terms of the blend of constructive discussion and humour.

agree about Girds! Sassy and i actually interviewed him for the new issue of Rugby League Player mag and asked him and he didnt really answer the question. it's a shame coz he was always so funny.
