Now I still see the Football Club Membership as a different company, and I can understand the restriction, Kinda like getting a Sony big screen TV from Harvey Norman's then expecting Sony to make you a share holder.

Nothing alike in any sort of comparison...... for one as a retailer you are selling a product.

As a club, you offer access to it. However what this club offers is a seat at a game but you can't be a member of this club outside of a supporters club that doesn't have any impact on the running of this club and the board that runs it.

You can only be a member of two different clubs - the Football club and the Leagues club - that don't really have anything at all to do with the main club outside of putting money towards it or administering the junior players.

Funnily enough at the very least 10 other clubs can seem to offer a Season Ticket and club membership in the same package.

Actually, not quite.

The TV is a product.

Tickets to sporting events (and wider entertainment events) are regarded as a service. I know this from when scalping laws were being looked at closely.

I consider the PNRLC a club in name only and its real purpose is as a retailer of services and administration for the provision of those services (getting a football side on the park).

I am happy for them, but they are not Parramatta.

Yeah.. not quite.
I don't expect to become a member of Harevy Norman when I buy a TV.. because I am buying a TV.
When I am Buying membership I expect to have a say as a member would.

Precisely. Well, one would think so anyway.

Yeh, that's for sure.

The other clubs are progressive and their board members are happy to have their positions open to scrutiny.

Yet you use them in your report to make a point of what Parramatta doesn't offer......

"Membership" was never part of the report, the report focused on extra curricular activities apart from NRL games where the fans could see the players. It also spoke about different flavours of supporters clubs like regioneels or the old eelite club, and then the clubs website offerings.

For someone who works in such a tall building a lot of things go over his head.....

No I do get your points most of the time, but I try to play devils advocate most of the time, because I do remember where we have been with these discussions and what has been shot down before. Which is most of what you are speaking about.

Yet like Suity's Merry-Go-Round, they keep coming up again and again 6 months down the track.

And so do your answers quite frankly, hence the merry-go-round.

That would be because your questions keep covering the same ground. Over and over again, with no new Idea's on how to get out of the puzzle. It seems everyone is happy to spin there wheels and not gain any real traction.
