What if Jarryd Hayne doesn't make the 49ers cut? Will he return to the NRL?

One of the greatest rorts in RL history was Hayne being robbed of 2014 Wally Lewis Medal, and for a professional loser like Gallen.

Also all the years he should have been the first NSW player picked at fullback but they insisted on putting Stewart, Dugan and Kurt f**king Gidley there with Hayne wasted on the wing

Jarryd Hayne is getting great publicity not just on the SF 49ers website, but on the main NFL website. The NFL management is really promoting him big time.

I sure hope he can get his pay upgraded by the end of the year. He is only earning approximately $500,000 a year (AU$700,000) which is much less than his AU$1 million Parramatta contract. If he stars in his first NFL season he must surely get a big pay rise.

big hit!

no negotiations to a rookie contract in the NFL until the end of year 2. It's locked in for 2 seasons. Even though he signed a 3 yr deal, he can get the payday for season 3 if he manages to be a success. 2 seasons is a long time in the NFL though. 1 week is a long time. He has to continually prove his value for the 53 let alone be a star. It's cut throat.

But As an example re rookie pay, Russell Wilson was a Super Bowl winning QB in his rookie year of 2013 and was still on chump change last year (under $700k) and took the Hawks to a second consecutive Super Bowl. His back ups were on more coin.

Hes getting paid for this season though - 4 yrs, over $80m, over $60m guaranteed. Boom!
