I haven't seen that movie in freaking ages, but I remember I liked it. Mainly because it has that blonde bird in it. I also remember it had a moment that really caught me by surprise (and as such made me enjoy it a lot more) when the pimp guy just beats the sh*t out of him in the car. I just didn't see that coming.

How much detail do they go into about Susie's murder?

In the movie you do not see the murder scene, you just see her ghost running off into Heaven as she is pulled into the cave, murdered and dismembered by the old man.
