Really?
How old are you? You've only seen a movie twice in the cinemas....and you pick that one?

First movie I saw twice in the cinema was The Goonies.

I've seen:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)
Batman
The Last Starfighter
A Bug's Life
Batman Begins
Toy Story 3
Back to the Future

all twice in the cinema. I'm sure there are others, but can't be bothered thinking of them.

Movies I saw 3 times:

Gladiator
Original Star Wars trilogy
Lord of the Rings trilogy
and for idiotic reasons - Armaggeddon

The Star Wars trilogy was the first movie I went to see in the cinema when I was 4 years old. It was a movie marathon of all 3. Best thing ever.

I also saw the LotR movies in a marathon. 9 and a half hours in a cinema. By myself because none of my friends wanted to go. Loved every minute of it.

WTF is wrong with you? What's it to you how many times I watch a movie at the cinemas? Sorry, I decided to watch the 4th highest grossing film of all time in the cinemas, I'm sorry that doesn't meet with your approval, Quint

I won't laugh... provided that there's a decent explanation as to why you watched it once, let alone a 2nd time, such as your Mrs dragging you to the cinemas by the ear?

Worse...my mother...haha!!!!

First time, I watched it by myself (no excuses there). I was doing a good deed for my mother the second time.

I saw django twice at the cinema. also dark knight

anyway

saw Age Of Adeline starring Gossip Girl and Han Solo. Score it a 3/5
Weird fantasy story about a girl who stops ageing. was ok in parts. wasn't too bad. Blake Lively was quite good. needed more historical stuff IMO. would have made the movie cooler.

Avengers

3.25/5
So, Alan Shore was the bad guy. He looked boss. kind of like a minotaur face a bit...
but loses, as bad guys always do. just once you wanna see a guy crush the good guys skull in like GOT. But alas Captain America lives on.

other than that, standard fare. Ironman is cool. Captain America stinks. Ol Hurt Locker shoot arrows and was married the whole time...apparently?
and my girlfriend swooned over Thor. Standard procedure

visually impressive. the Hulk Fight scene with Big Iron man was sweet.

Pitch Perfect

3.75/5
a lot of singing and dancing. quite entertaining. Anna Kendrick is kinda hot. if that's her singing she's pretty talented. Toula has come a long way from Fat Pizza. Still fat. is funny though.

Fast 7

15/5

The Rock busts out of a cast by flexing, and takes out a predator drone with an ambulance. Then double taps the drone, then grans the gun off it and shoots down a helicopter.
Vin Diesel Drives a car from one building to another to another.
Plot in there somewhere. Friend of Khelisi is hot.
None of these people can ever be killed.

I f**king love this franchise for exactly what it is.

Watched 13 Assassins last night. Slow build, but you can't fault a movie with a nearly hour long final battle event. Brilliant.

8/10

It's because we've seen it all before.
There was nothing new in that movie. It kept me entertained enough that I didn't feel I wasted my money, but it was extremely disappointing.

In fact, the more I think about it the more I dislike it.

That's probably it.

I also thought the story was a mess, and the lack of Hulk - even allowing for the story - was disappointing, because I love Hulk.

Thor is the most tedious of the standalone heroes. He really works best in this team dynamic.

I really don't understand the hype for all these Marvel movies. They're mildly entertaining at best. GotG was refreshing... the rest feel really shallow to me. That goes triple time for the Furious movies, f**k they are ordinary.

Clearly it has happened, I'm a jaded old f**k and I haven't even hit 30 yet.

Saw Interstellar finally the other day, now there's a movie that impressed me despite some glaring faults. Very ambitious and mostly on the money.

Marvel have gone way over the top with the action and are forgeting to build story along the way. They tried arresting that in Iron Man 3 by giving Tony Stark an anxiety disorder but it just came off as forced, especially the scenes with the kid in the rural town

Winter Soldier has been the only one that was plotted well imo

I loved Winter Soldier. Reminded me of old school conspiracy movies from the 70s, but with superheroes instead of Robert Redford.

people keep saying that about winter soldier. Ill have to see it. I dunno. I was just never was into him as a character.

I thought the first Ironman was really good. other than that....first avengers was visually spectacular as was this film but its just like...I dunno.

Saw the trailer for Antman. could be alright? Paul Rudd??
I didn't know Ant Man was a thing but anyway.

some other movies I have seen /downloaded. or not downloaded if George brandis is watching...

Chris Rock's movie Top Five. I enjoyed that. people should check that out. Its genuinely funny. best work of his in a while.

Road Hard starring Adam Carolla and a bunch of other comics. Funny independent film that Carolla crowd funded. loosely based on his life losing his radio gig and having his friends be more commercially successful.
its quite good. Larry Miller and Jay Mohr are really good in that.

Docs

Dear Zachary. prepare yourself.

Earthlings. This is an eye opener. not for the squeamish

Montage of Heck. f**king awesome Kurt Cobain Doc. Highly recommend that one.

because he's one dimensional, perfection becomes boring.

avengers 2 was meh, good fight between ironman and hulk, but the rest was just wtf? i can't stand the hollywood style banter scripting either, reminds me of oceans 12, pure arrogance i just tune out

avengers 3 characters look zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I'm in the same boat and I havn't hit 30 either.
Marvel movies don't particularly do anything for me whatsoever.
Guardians was good as you mentioned, but I find it lacking the rewatchability.

One trailer which has me interested in the new Mad Max movie though.

I find he's no more one-dimensional than any other superhero tbh.
