Yesterday was Roy Batty's incept date.

So watched Blade Runner again.

Recently checked out The Zero Theorm and liked it.

Had intended to watch The Last Dragon I put on the tbox back in August only to find it deleted. Grrr. Hope sbs whack it on again sometime. Haven't seen it since 1986.

The original Point Break was a pretty bad movie.
It's heaps of fun and I still enjoy watching it, but if it was released today I would probably not like it.
I haven't seen the new one, but I can't imagine it's as stupid as the old one.

The original didn't take itself seriously and never tried to be more than it was. The new one just seems to be too serious. Serious earth issues etc and it completely misses the mark

"The Last Dragon"....the movie that is so bad that it is good. Good old Leroy and his battles against the Shogun!!!

You can get "The Last Dragon" off iTunes. I don't a bad movie with loads of charm....The Last Dragon certainly had a charm to it.
The Nicholas Cage movie I watched tonight had absolutely nothing going for it (Dying of the Light). I often have to remind myself that he won an Oscar once.

Diablo.
Not too bad .7.5/10
Scott Eastwood does look & sound like his father at times, but does not have the same charisma or screen presence .
Still a well made story with a few twists.

The Hateful Eight - Really liked it but I don't think it's for everybody. Very dialogue driven and is more like a play than a movie.

Cage should play Doc Brown in a Back to the Future remake.

As for Last Dragon, was hoping for a Australian blu ray release for 30th anniversary but haven't seen one yet.

Anyone seen the revenant? Very underwhelming, and frankly a difficult movie to sit through in my opinion.

Watched it last night and really enjoyed it.

Visually stunning, technically brilliant, and some really intense sequences. I loved it.

9/10

You've summed up my feelings perfectly. Brilliant cinematography and even though I've never understood all the fuss about him... Leo was phenomenal considering he didn't even talk for such a big chunk of the film.

Loved it.

The Big Short.

I loved Moneyball and I Thought the aesthetic of that carries over to this. I loved the little segues (Margot Robbie drinking champagne in a bath tub, anyone?!?!?) that were thrown in to explain what was going on with the technical/mathematical side of it. Steve Carrell was amazing and I'm starting to warm to Brad Pitt. His role is relatively small but he was great with limited screen time

The subject matter was utterly f**ked though! All that money and all those people who have been put out. Damn!

7.5/10

Sisters.

Nothing special but can't go wrong with Fey and Poehler even though Baby Mama was a let down. I love Tina Fey but the more I see Amy the more I love her. Need to watch Parks and Recreation!

Parks and recreation is the best. The first season is a drag, but after that it goes from strength to strength. Amy is great in it, nick offerman even better. But Chris Pratt is the true star of the show
