We got lucky, but its always good winning against Everton, it must still be cutting deep ha ha!

We really lack some creative play down the flanks.. I guess thats Kewell's saving grace atm, but happy with a win!

Hatred for a cheat who has the audacity to speak out in the English press and accuse Carvalho and Ronaldo of "ruining football", telling the press he would have a word with his teammates if he caught them diving, and being used by Torres as an example of an honest player?

Well, yep you might feel the hate. And that was a blatant dive or Gerrard has the strength of a 5 year old, he dived from outside the box, into the box then talked the referee into giving a red card. Absolute dog Gerrard is, if Ronaldo did it the papers would be all over him.

Bit of bad news on the injury front.
Pennant's gone for 10 weeks,Torres 3 weeks after is half against Arsenal and the killer Alonso could be gone for the season.
On the good news front Mascherano might be ok for the weekend as his injury isnt as bad as first feared and Agger will be back in the next week or two.
I think we have a League Cup game against Gods side Cardiff coming up at Anfield and a trip to Blackburn on the weekend(ad that will be a most difficult task the way their going).
On the rumour front Liverpool are chasing that Goran Pandev( that a thread is on somehere here as are Bayern and the yearly Henry rumours have started).

Kewell plays 30 minutes today against Cardiff, good to see him back. Finally, and with Liverpool's left side being rubbish so far, he has a good chance to get back into the first team quick

Kewell came on in the 71st minute.
Basically a second string side but due to injuries Carra and Gerrard played.
As you'd expect Gerrard was the difference.

Mascherano was supposed to play but ended up on the bench.Came on in the 87th minute so hopefully he will play on the weekend.
Sissoko was also ill.Too many firsts team members missing to mention but got away with a 2-1 win and thats all that really mattered.

Some good news on the injury front.
Alonso's injury isnt as bad as first thought and he could be back within 2 weeks along with Agger and Torres.
Got to get through a hard game at Blackburn but things are starting to look better than first feared.
