People who work themselves into a frothy lather about how cats and dogs have the same value as humans and are JUST LIKE US THEY LOVE JUST LIKE WE DO.

Well guess what they f**king aren't and they f**king don't, I would gladly murder 2000 kittens and 2000 puppies to save the life of one human being, and if you wouldn't do that I think you are an evil person.

Trying to imagine a scenario where you have to plow through a field of kittens and puppies with a chainsaw to save someone

Does the person have to be someone you know or like?

Probably been mentioned but the thing that probably makes me silently rage to the point of aneurysm the most is waiting to be served at a counter and some other f**ker who arrives after me gets served before me.

If I had a tommy gun I would lay waste to the food court or bar every time this happens. It's not just the impolite piece of shit who arrives late and gets served first, it's the waste of oxygen "serving" behind the counter that should f**king know I'm next.

When I arrive, I know who I'm after and I make sure to at least ask if they've been served. It's common courtesy. One day I'm going to go mental about this one.

It'd depend on the person IMO. Lot of people out there contributing less to the universe than a cat. You ever been Melbourne? The place is one giant candidate for post birth abortion.

The actual jimmy rustling came from a friend's facebook status that said something to the effect of "humans are disgusting and should die out to protect the trees and the animals" that had around 15 likes.

Just annoys the f**k out of me the way people devalue the human animal as if they were above it all. The lack of respect and love for your fellow man is the underlying cause of all the problems and all the evil in the world today. Most people don't appreciate the monumental way mankind has worked together and risen above the food chain, natural selection, our own instinct, all those things that would have 90% of us dead by 30 if it went unchecked.

No matter how broken or low someone is, nothing anybody can say can convince me he/she is worth less than a f**king dog or a cat. Every man and woman is a testament to 10s of thousands of years of the greatest genetic lineage in the known universe. Every man and woman can shape the world if they're given the chance. Hell, even if they can't shape the world, maybe they can be part of a community that influences one of the next generation to shape the world. Even the sickest and most base of us have more to offer than any f**king cat I've ever seen in my life.

 and I consider myself an animal lover tbh.

Excluding Dani...

Lived there for 6 years. Almost as insular and self important as the US.

The response to that sort of bullshit is simple: "Are you volunteering to go first?"

Problem is, so many humans these day are vile scum who contribute f*ck all to society. In essence, a dog who is a assistant for a blind or less abled person is contributing to society more then that person. Can't de-value the fact that in some cases a dog can achieve more then some people in their life-team. Though, it comes down the life choices of the person and their free-will. You can make a dog achieve things, a person is different.

My dog has done more for me in my lifetime then some random person has. Has she changed the world? No. But she got me through tough times by her loyalty and love of her owner alone.

I'm not supporting of Misanthropy or anything like that, but the standard of some humans out there is seriously astonishing. (In a bad way).

I was going to rant in reply, but I think I am ranted out on this topic.

All I'll say is that a) guide dogs are an example of human ingenuity, not the kindness and nobility of dogs, and b) I reiterate that if it came to a choice between an animal and a human (any animal and any human) I think you're evil or at least very stupid if you don't choose the human being every time.

I'm not saying I wouldn't choose the human though. I'm just showing another side of the argument not necessarily my opinion.

If it was an animal or a human I'd choose the human to save first. However, in saying that. I know some people I wouldn't even piss on yet alone save their lives (I have a few enemies :sarcasm:).

I'm not saying your point is wrong, you're 100% correct and that comment that person on Facebook made is wrong, you had every right to rant over it.

As JM said, if a person has those views- let's see if they'll put their life at risk over an animals.

I'd shoot Hitler before I'd shoot my dog. Pretty simple choice actually. In fact there would probably be many millions of people I would kill before my dog. My dog was loyal and never hurt anyone. There are humans out there who have bashed a baby's head against a rock because it wouldn't stop crying. That said, there are very few people that I know that I'd put my dog's life before them, but extending that to all human beings no way. The only thing that putting an evil person's life over my dog's would accomplish is me giving them another chance to kill by letting them live.

I think if you'd choose Hitler or Ted Bundy or Jeffrey Dahmer or General Butt Naked or Stalin or any number of psychopathic mass murderers who have done nothing to humanity but mutilate it over an innocent dog then you are evil or at least very stupid.

+1, silly argument.
