Can somebody with some time and some statistical ability go through this thread so far and tally up the number of times players have been named for each position in this thread to create what LU's NSW team would look like by most voted? I'm at work so I can't do it at the moment

I should add, if I was to actually put some time into it (i.e write things down, come up with a criteria and some algorithms etc like I do with basketball) the line-up could look a fair bit different to that. I was just glancing really.

Ben Cross is not getting enough support. That bloke reminds me of Paul Harrigan..

John Sutton would be perfrect for origin in 5/8. His inconsistancy has a lot to do with the team around him. Give him a decent halfback to feed off (actually get the ball at the right time and not under pressure and he will create breaks). Although you would want a half next to him who has a decent short kicking game...

I read an article today suggesting that not only had Idris done enough to retain his spot, but that he had performed so well he would be considered for a starting centre berth. Hilarious! :lol: :lol: :lol:

The first one is Haynes fault, certainly it was Thurston poking his nose through the line that got Hayne watching and interested, but Thurston was nowhere near enough through for Hayne to be taking the drastic step of leaving his man unmarked in acres of space.

And yeah, Cooper, there's the biggest myth of all myths.

yeh you could say that. however cooper shouldnt have dropped the ball and we shouldnt have given a soft penalty prior to that attack as well.
either way... hayne went in or not it was going to be a try

We need a proper 5/8th and Lyon is a good centre and wishes to play there, Tahu was good last night and Hayne at the back with Gidley gone, he played ok but he is too much of a hog that hardly can break the line
