    2023 TV/Fox/Streaming Ratings

Just as well the Ashes series in England comes around every four years. I like to know the comparison of ratings back in 2019, at around the time of the Ashes.

    The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

Sorry to hear about your loss Vibing. My condolences to you and your family. I lost my mum to cancer more than 20 years ago. I was a teenager at the time. Losing her still hurts. However, for the rest of us that are still around, we should keep fighting, and you never know.

    The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

Round 18 is Beanie for Brain Cancer round. I kinda wished this round was scheduled after the Origin series, so that it would get a full amount of exposure. Throughout the year there is other themed rounds like ANZAC, Easter, Magic or Indigenous. But for mine, Beanies for Brain Cancer Round...

Ben Hunt requests release from the Drags

At the end of the day, Ben Hunt should blame himself for the position he finds himself in. He signed a two year contract extension back in October last year, less than nine months ago. The thing is, the Dragons have been a basketcase for a fair while. They were a rabble when Hunt signed that...

Ben Hunt requests release from the Drags

As a Dragons fan, this is crap.

    The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

So let's see: Dragons have sacked their coach, the halfback wants to leave the club and have only won 4 out of 15 games. So realistically, what type of crowds do you expect? As for the previous home game at Kogarah, you can thank Souths fans for boosting the attendance.

    2023 TV/Fox/Streaming Ratings

If NRLW becomes a strong, watchable comp, then down the track, the season could kick off the same week of game 1 men's origin. After men's origin series, you could schedule womens origin, whilst NRL is played at the same time. And of course, NRLW grand final could have its own stand alone day...

    2023 TV/Fox/Streaming Ratings

Women's game continues to grow. It's interesting how the men's series is over but will still play a third game, while in the women, it ended 1-1, but no third game to be played. It makes so sense doesn't it......

    The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

Awesome crowd. The girls deserve a third game.

Ratings for the third game is not going to be too flash. And it will be in Sydney too. Good luck promoting that game.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Wests Tigers do act more as an inner west club. And when you look at the history of Wests in particular, it is no surprise. Before the Magpies moved to Campbelltown in '87, their old home grounds were St.Lukes Park at Concord, Pratten Park at Ashfield (where they played most of their games in...

Time for Jayden Sullivan to step up.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

The more pressing question I would have is "why didn't Accor Stadium get redeveloped into a rectangular layout straight after the Olympic Games?" If Accor was to become a white elephant in the future, then past and present state governments only have themselves to blame.

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Even after the redevelopment, there is still a hill. How can Wests Tigers compete against teams who have all seater stadiums in the form of Suncorp, Qld Country Bank, Allianz, Commbank, Cbus or AAMI? Wests Tigers are still trying to accommodate the old home grounds of Balmain Tigers and...

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Stadiums like Win fall under the Venues NSW banner along with Newy, Commbank, Allianz, Accor and the SCG. Win Stadium and MacDonald Jones Stadium are in regional areas and are more likely to be prioritized over Sydney suburban grounds .

    18th club, whose next?

But Perth needs to learn alot from the Storm consortium because they are in AFL heartland. Perhaps when it comes to the bidding process, get a few officials from Melbourne in a consultant way to help Perth out.

    2023 TV/Fox/Streaming Ratings

Ten/Paramount haven't been successful with their AFL and cricket bids. Maybe for the NRL rights, there could be a change of strategy from Ten where they could go into partnership with Fox and leave Nine on their own. Ten will go with Fox on the basis that they want four FTA games, Thursday...

    2023 TV/Fox/Streaming Ratings

In the next tv deal, there will be nine games a week. Hopefully four games a week are on FTA. At the moment, there is seven rounds (Easter, ANZAC and final five rounds) with four games a week on Nine.

    18th club, whose next?

For Perth to succeed, they probably need to have a look at Melbourne Storm with regards to ownership and the day to day running of a club. Once the Storm got rid of News Ltd as owners, they have become a better football club.
