    Douglas a Titan?

Douglas gone, Snowy stays and we have some money freed up to retain other players or buy another outside back. Sounds good to me. Why is everyone complaining? We had too much money tied up in our forwards anyway.

    Sleeve Sponsor PokerStars shut down

No surprise here. This was always going to happen given the dodgy ways these companies were getting around the ludicrous anti-gambling laws in the US. Nevertheless, Pokerstars continues to operate in Europe and the free site, pokerstars.net (our sponsor) is currently unaffected. Of course...

    Ffffggggggaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tonight we saw a classic example of what is wrong with the 2-ref system. In the back end of the game Lyons was refereeing us and doing a pretty good job of keeping us onside. Meanwhile Cecchin was ignoring persistent and blatant off-sides by up to 5-Manly players at a time. The result was that...

    On the Up

Outdoor cinema is great. No more than 80 people on the night I went but the atmosphere is great. Clouds looked a bit threatening but nothing eventuated. We will definitely be doing it again if they have it next year.

ex-Sharks Player NOT implicated in Betting Scandal

Haha - the Herald aren't mentioning any link between the Sharks and a player at the centre of the match-fixing scandal. What the hell is going on? Have we turned the corner in terms of media coverage now that Man-gay is out of the picture. Where's TK when you need him...

Cronulla Sharks want to bring Brett Kimmorley back for one last hurrah

Why do so many people still hate Kimmorley when the handbrake theory has been proven wrong? I'd rather see someone younger and more talented signed, but if he's the best we can get then go for it. Every season we had with Kimmorley was better than the last two without him.

    Bleak future for sharks

There's nothing in these articles that makes things out to be any worse than we already knew them to be. Irvine seems to have the best interests of the club at heart and his main focus is on survival and retaining our identity. The "Bleak future" crap is just the addition of some dumb...

    Ricky Quits

So the stage is all set for Ricky to coach the Blues next year. I predict the post match press conference after Origin I will feature quotes such as this: Ricky: "Yeah, we've got a tough bunch of guys here but they're just not good enough to match it with those Maroon boys. We've got $6 million...

What do you think of Ricky Stuart?

Sorry, but I don't know any decent human beings who DON'T follow the Sharks.

Support Cronulla - Sunday Roast Insult

Looks like whoever has the job of deciding which moron will adopt the Blacktip-Reefy persona this week has given it to TK himself. Get back in your cave TK and give the job to someone with at least 10% of their brain intact. I prefer the old Reefy.

Support Cronulla - Sunday Roast Insult

Sharks v Eels was the top rating program of the week. Not just sports broadcasts - it topped the overall ratings on pay-TV.

    Another shark quits!!!

Underpaid and overworked probably sums it up. The Sharks CEO job is no cakewalk at the moment and he certainly wouldn't be paid what he is worth. We were lucky to get him when we did and it will be tough to find someone half as good.

    Another shark quits!!!

Perhaps what everyone is forgetting is that Fisk was only appointed as "interim CEO". He was on a 12 month contract. Good operator and the club wanted to keep him but he can probably pull a bigger salary elsewhere.

    Ricky on footy show?

"looking forward to whatever challenges present themselves in the future" "great bunch of players and I wish them all the best"

    OT: A test of bias

I suggest we refer this question to the NSW selectors. They have shown themselves as being incapable of answering simple questions relating to team composition so perhaps they will have more luck with punctuation.

    OT: A test of bias

Look again. The quotes were around the words, not the solidus (or forward slash for any NSW selectors who might be reading). Remember, once bad grammar begins you are only once step away from spelling loser with two o's, and then all hell breaks loose.

    OT: A test of bias

I'd just like to know what all this "would of"/"could of" garbage is. It's "would have"/"could have", people. It's poor grammar like this that caused NSW to lose last night, not Gallen's absence.
