    Join the Parramatta Football Club!!!!

I am not a member and haven't been invovled in this very commendable membership drive that has been driven here. But if i am reading correctly and the club now has about 100 odd more members now than it did last year, why would they need to increase membership?

NRL's Tim Smith and cricket's Clarke 'clash'

So Strider you don't think Tim Smith has a problem? You don't think there is any correlation between his extra curricula activites and his form?

    Hot Rumour

Reminds me, did anyone See Hinchcliffe playing ressies for the Raiders when they played at Parra a few weeks back? He was playing hooker, and went really well i thought. Always liked that guy. Hard as.

NRL's Tim Smith and cricket's Clarke 'clash'

Your right, i would be speculating he was drunk. I speculate because 1. His history 2. He was with Riddell 3. Nobody at Northies is ever sober *edit* why would you edit point 4? He has never pushed anyone around on a football field. FACT And he got in trouble for pushing Santa...

NRL's Tim Smith and cricket's Clarke 'clash'

I don't care if they pushed each other or drove daggers into each other. Fact is despite being in trouble on numerous occaisions (that we know of), he is still drinking and carrying on like a clown when drunk. If he parties as hard as it appears, there is no way he is giving his body or brain...

NRL's Tim Smith and cricket's Clarke 'clash'

One is in his off season One has played for his country One has never been busted for alochol related stupidity.

    Yeah Right !!

The answer to that is zero. I am not siding with the "he is useless" side, but he did nothing in the Souths game to warrent praise. Part of that appeared to be due to the game plan which seemd to be to maintain posession and minimise the chance of mistakes by not playing wide or with second...

    Burt signs on again

No i am happy for him to be staying. Just pointing it out to those whingers who have written him off in the past and those who use to blow up at Smith for playing favourites with him when clearly re-signing him suggests Brian Smith and a few staunce supporters aren't the only ones who want him...

LU - Team of the week

Well the people who make up that team are no bigger experts on the game than you or I. I am sure Brett Delaney won't be printing off a copy and sliding it into his resume. Not worth anything really...

NRL's Tim Smith and cricket's Clarke 'clash'

Absolutley. Have a look at the 34 blokes that played State of Origin II. How many of them have been in the media for getting too drunk this season? None. Sure some have had problems in the past, but even guys like Mason and O'Meley are getting their act together. And in the case of Mason...

    Burt signs on again

"Luke Burt is sh!t. He only gets a game because he is one of Brian Smith's favourites".... How many times did i hear that tripe on here. Yet we are keeping him. In two years, how long will that mean Luke has been at the club?

NRL's Tim Smith and cricket's Clarke 'clash'

The push and shove is irrelevent. Fact is he is out getting sloshed AGAIN! He either clearly has learn't nothing in the last 7 months, or has a serious drinking problem. The clubs image is going down the toilet and so is Tim's career at this rate. He can turn it around, but not while he has...

    Fui Fui not released

Because it pits the best against the best from within the chosen parameters. The NZ captain isn't even going to this match, so why would we release a guy who as good a form as he is in, isn't one of the best two or three props NZ have at their disposal?

    Fairleigh and Farrar

Not saying your wrong, but i have heard time and time again what a great football brain JT has. I have heard Brian Smith give him countless wraps over the years. I have never heard nor read anything about Fairleigh that suggests he is well respected as a coach and his results don't really stack...

    Fairleigh and Farrar

ok. "based on their achievements and past coaching records at various levels", I think we are going backward.

    Parra won't whine

Some of our alternatives are retaining players. John Morris is an example. Blake Green is another. It may be a big part of the decison for us to offer them something, and for them to decide to stay if they no for sure if Lyon is coming or not.

    Parra won't whine

This is a good and bad comment from Fitzy. Bad: in that we are still considering him and not focusing on our alternatives. Good: That it appears we are not going to get into a bargaining war come July.

    Fairleigh and Farrar

Whilst iam am willing (under sufferance) to give Hagan a go, I for one am hoping it isn't Fairleigh and Farrer that come with him. Replacing Sharp and Taylor with Fairliegh and Farrer, to me that is going backwards.

    Wade McKinnon - Warriors ?

Reddy at the moment is reminding me of Adam Mogg circa 2002 (i think).

Lyon poised to roam free as a Panther at foot of mountains

Why don't we let him talk to other clubs. How does it bother us? He isn't playing here, so it won't affect his performance for our club. Let some other club waste their money, so we know who they are letting go to fit him in and who else is on the market...
